As a sniper there are cross purposes in ones activities as some of you already know. First a significant percentage use Scout suits as that is the default setup. Other suits work as well but the Scout is fast and does allow other functions such as hacking objectives.
However not everyone uses the same choice and some suits don't have a second weapon slot. That leaves no solution but the sniper rifle when getting up close to the Reds. The suggestion here is to practice hip firing regardless of the suit. With some practice it is a One Shot Kill on virtually any equip but a Heavy. And they can be dropped in two rounds in particular if it is a Militia version. I would suggest something other than the Charge version but the choice is always your own.
Sneak down and hack an objective when your trusty scope says it is safe. If the Reds get close make sure you have a full magazine and pop a few for the team. Odds are high they will bleed out as you will normally only encounter a single Red. If there are more, run away in your fast Scout suit. Pop em from a safer distance. Don't forget to head to a different nest.
*This idea was first proposed on a much earlier thread. If I can find it I will post a link as I was reminded of it earlier today. |

I think I want to try it now that I said it. :P I've heard of people doing it in the older Halo games, but Halo didn't have sniper sway. |
