I personally think Gamestop has high prices for what they offer. HOWEVER, they are offering a good service to the people who cycle through games as well as come to franchises late. Some stores are well managed and I patronage them. Some stores are sleezy and I avoid them. That's a problem with the loose franchise business setup, not the stores themselves.
They promote gaming, help drive new sales, and allow 2nd hand entry to those with tighter pocketbooks. Not for everyone, but not evil, at least IMHO. |

Gamestop is a great store to go to get what you need when you want it now. I do not trade in or sale my games to them tho. I do not allow myself to get hustled like that. Be patient and use ebay. |

I will never understand why people trade games in at gamestop when you usually get more money for trading in at best buy, I also don't know why people would buy games at gamestop when best buy usually has cheaper prices and if they don't they will price match gamestop to begin with. |

Not so outrageous as you think: you can't resell digital download on PSN or Steam (PC). The frog has been in boiling water for a while...
