that not all newberries are well.....newberries.
I recently got taken down due to thinking i could go 1v1 with a heavy (long story short, i got turned into swiss cheese. lesson learned) well as im sitting there, bleeding out and slowly losing consienceness a fresh to the game Logibro ran over, braving the hail of gunfire and picked me up....well the heavy was right there and got 2 more kills. but needless to say that was inspirational.
so just goes to show, not all newberries are completely useless. sometimes you find the diamond in the rough.
now, share with me other tales like this so i know im not the only one who had something like this happen lol |

You and he both died rather then him possibly doing something positive elsewhere and you bleeding out.... where's the good part in this where he doesn't sound like a newberry being useless?
EDIT: He should of checked to see if it was clear. :( |

the fact he ran over to pick me up, he tried to help instead of just standing there like a lump on a log. he did more than most newbies do. |

Lol bro u got him confused. In bf series we call this Rambo revives. He saw points or what ever and did what he can. A smart person(non-newberry) would have killed the heavy and got u. Bro gotta learn da signs |

i actually hate it when people do that, i always respawn asap, because there have been so many times where someone just revives me regardless of whether its clear, then i die TWICE with no chance :/ |

Still newberry status to me. A season bluedot would have driven that heavy back with either MD fire, nades or just some form of harrasment, then he would have picked u up and quickly switched to repping before you even got to your feet.
Inspiring yes, worthy of losing newberry status NO. |

As an experienced logi if a heavy was standing in front of you i would of let you bleed out, as a mercy to you and myself, and been an asset elsewhere.
Well, tbh i would of probably taken on the heavy if i could. Flux nades + MD a good mix for taking out heavies 1v1, which is what i roll with as a logi. Plus i got ~575 HP, something around there. But if i did not have confidence in that, then I would of gone elsewhere.
Logi 101, dont res people unless your 80% sure you can give them a fighting chance at living, otherwise its a classic noob mistake. |
