Hey gang, I'm new to the game (been playing for about a week) and really enjoying it. I was thinking about creating a new corperation and doing a website for it. Some of the corperations here are pretty big, and some are way hardcore. I was thinking about something kinda small, and more for fun. Obviously I want to go into matches with the intention of winning, but moreso, I would like to play with friends instead of randoms.
Would anyone be interested in helping start a new corp from the ground up and recruiting some folks? Thanks. |

I have to say I would recommend that you join an already established corp simply so you can learn from vets. you don't have to join the larger corp's there are plenty of smaller one's you can join, if I were you I would scroll through the corp recruitment section and find one you like the look of then apply |

+1 to above
But if you still set on starting a corp, ask yourself what is different between your corp and the hundreds of corps out there that also just want a nice small friendly corp?
Remember your vying for people support, you want people to join so what are you going to bring to the game that someone hasn't already done. Not saying you cant start a corp like everyone else for no real reason, but having an idea of what you want your corp to do, how it is special and how you intend to achieve that is a good idea before you even think about asking people to join.
Best of luck what ever you decide and welcome to the forums. |

If I don't get any interest I might do that. It would definately be a smaller one. I'll consider it, thanks for the reply. |

The above advice are definitely solid ones. See you sometime at Condor Squad 3 Bird.
But if you do go the route and form a corp, set a path like so.
A) A tight knit group of 10-20 of some unknown talents who aid other corps in battles B) An even smaller more elite group of maybe 4. Definitely play the role as mercenaries and are the game-changing squad like many well known corps do when they pub-stomp C) A corp dedicated to one class. It's small and is once again only used as a corp to aid other corps. For instance, a corp of nothing but good HAV drivers or Heavies or Logis.
Just my advice. Don't try to be the everybody corp if you know it's going to be small. It will go nowhere unless, as 3 Bird said, there's something different about it.
