Why would anyone want to buy a SP Booster to get ripped off?
You are costing yourselves money.
I will never buy another SP Booster again
Cap is to low and the fact theirs a cap at all makes me not want to play this game. |

I've given the SP cap complete thought through and have come to enjoy it and here's why.
CCP wants Dust 514 to last - they have repeatedly said that they want the game to last for years and that they have years of ideas for the game. I believe them, they've shown me that they really want to support this game and show that the impossible can be done.
So how do you keep a game alive when new titles are constantly coming out? Well you make it so that you play for awhile and then give the player the option of moving onto something else. Making it so that Dust 514 doesn't consume all your attention but keeps it enough for an allowance to play other things.
I love Dust 514 and play nearly every time I can, when I reach my SP cap I'm satisfied and I move onto another game. For some reason this keeps my attention on Dust.
I know how console gamers think because I've been one since the Atari days - and I know that we want to get awarded for our accomplishments and I know this might turn off some people from playing. But I'm a HardCore gamer and I find myself fine with it now. |

I like the SP cap, because I like the idea of being able to work my full time job, do some sort of physical activity, play Dust, and actually get some sleep.
No SP cap would simply allow power gamers to progress well ahead of the competition, and in a couple month's time, there will just be "why can't I get a kill" threads appearing all over the place.
Here's the trolling part... why not do away with the active SP altogether... just increase the passive gain, and make it like EVE?
What? Don't like that? HTFU, go outside, and get some sunshine.
I would, however, support a bump to ISK rewards once you have hit the SP cap... allowing people to try some more expensive fittings.

realy? HTFU instead of STFU? You already have a swear word in that alphabit soup. HTFU sounds like you're trying to be a hippocrit.
anyway, in all due seriousness, i kinda have a love hate with this. i wish i could earn SP a little quicker or enuff to give me encentive to keep playing the game but not enuff to power lvl. like, 125 SP once you hit your limit with a potental 175 with the booster.
but realy....why would you buy weapons with real money that just dissapear when you die. it's a waste i tell yah and won't be earning my buck. and don't get me started about UVT. but i'm off topic so ignore this. |

But since DUST is free it would just cause people to make 100 PSN accounts and make characters with full SP. The active ensures that you have to play actively to be at the top of the SP pack.
Though, I wish they just had a more expensive AUR passive booster or something that eliminated active and made it all passive. Essentially a subscription. Pay 30,000 or 40,000 AUR, lasts 30 days, and ensures you get every point of SP you would if you have both active / passive boosters. That way I could pay to skip pub grinding and focus on the Corp matches (and other future gameplay) that interests me. |

Does nobody know the cap is becoming weekly quite soon and that you'll be able to earn up to 1000 SP (1500 w/booster) per match even after you hit the cap? *Sigh* I wonder about this community sometimes. |

Plus one on this. Why not if you're doing it for just money - then you should get more of an award for doing so. |

I would like increased salvage drop rate after the cap instead, about the same idea as the increased isk. |
