Basic Key Points:
Near Future, next expansion:
They are still iterating on the "core gameplay"
Drop suits are getting expanded in a big way, for example all 4 races represented in the assault suit class. Not all reaces will be represented straight away but new suits will get streamed in when they are complete.
New classes of drop suit such as "Covert ops", "Crusader" and "Pilot"
There was a suggestion there might be bonuses on drop suits "like eve ships"
Maps are getting worked on
Graphics are being worked on.
Should be able to see eve ships in orbit as a "tag" in the sky.
Better eve universe awareness, the star map is coming back with better tools to see whats going on.
Better integration with eve online in terms of orbital bombardment.
Basic Market integration such as trading between players.
New nova knifes (? they were vague here, something about CCP wolf man working on awesome stuff)
Opening up corp battles and merc battles to non-corp mercs.
Better rewards for corp battles beyond it being a "friendly wager"/
Not too distant future:
Dust mercs get to strike back at eve pilots. But its a complicated feature.
Dust mercs able to deploy stuff above a district to defend themselves.
Dust merc corps being able to seize territory in low security space.
Being able to deploy stuff to harvest resources in low sec. Lucrative.
Better defined roles for vehicles (like drop suits)
Full Market integration.
Long term:
More planet types
Null sec.

Exactly.
Gallente are curvy and cool and their ships design sensibilities remind me of a classic Atari ST/Amiga game called Deuteros. which I loved and played endlessly.

On a related note- what will minmatar HAVs look like? Caldari HAVs already look like they're made of sheet metal. |
