tl;dr: Will we be able to play in the Dust Tournament at Fanfest with a keyboard and mouse? Former champions want a chance to get beaten fairly.
I was on Team Haggis in the Fanfest 2012 Dust tournament. You may or may not remember us as the winners of that tournament, but I can assure you, that victory was not because of my contributions on the battlefield. I was on FailSquad, the squad containing those of us who organized and strategized, but who can't aim a gun with a Dual Shock controller to save our lives. Our team won because of the battlefield contributions of our console-FPS-trained compatriots.
Because of those people, I now own a PS3, and have been enjoying both the closed and open beta with my keyboard and mouse. I am still totally crippled with a DS, but I'm an average player with KB/M.
My request is that we somehow are able to use that at Fanfest, since I know many of us former Team Haggis people are now KB/M, and we'd like to compete again for our honor. I don't care whether we have to bring our own and plug them in. I'll do that. Last year, the Playstations generously provided by Sony were in plexiglas cases, and the DS3s were essentially hardwired. I'm hoping it's not that way this time.

If you can afford the trip, it's absurdly worthwhile. You meet tons of awesome people, and sometimes you win playstations with them. |

Maybe I should ask this on the Eve forums so that CCP Tyr can see it? |

GM Hercules, if I see you, you'll have a cold beer on me. Thanks for responding.
I'm planning on bringing my own, but as I said, they were locked in little Plexiglas cages last year, so I couldn't plug one in. Bluetooth in a room of 50 or so other Bluetooth users could also be an iffy proposition. |
