I think people are bit to critical of the graphics, i know we're due for an improvement in the next build but there really not bad overall, i played crisis 3 demo earlier on, and of course crisis is well known for its amazing graphics, but I found them to be quite blury where as dust is very clean and sharp, easier on the eye strain,
I had the same critism of far cry 3 which also suffered with the blury/misty/foggy lol looking graphics. On a side note the gun play in dust is some of the best I've ever experienced on the ps3, much prefer to the twitch shooters like Bf3 and Cod, I think it's because I'm getting quite old now at the 32 and my reaction times have slowed lol |

I kinda like the graphics too. But when you get close to a wall for example, you see all "pixelated", blurred. It can be better I think, but it's not a problem. Also it requires a bigger client and I think there are other things more important to "test" before implement better graphics and have to download a 10 GB client. |

The buildings and what not remind me a lot of MAG which I had absolutely no problem with. |

when you think about it all the big names are pushing their engines are far as they can get away with to look more impressive than the next game, that means they have to compromise with the small things to get the awesome big vista's they advertise. dust however seems to be in a spot where the visuals are adequate and everything seems to run better because of that |

Ill take larger battles over a few more pixels anytime. If graphics are important to you, why play games on console. Its usually 720p at 30fps, even a modest gaming rig completely destroys that. Like crysis 3, the graphics are incredible, but not on console. |

I think the character models look fantastic, looking at mine in his merc quarters now and he looks better than the dead space 3 character model. |

I totally agree....give me larger games with more people involved instead of prettier graphics and there only being 8 people on the battle field....not really fun IMO. |

The strange thing about the graphics that I have noticed lately is that the quality and detail of textures and the general feel of any given map does not seem to be constant or fixed.
Some days I will almost convince myself that I just missed news af a graphics overhaul. Because the game will be looking really nice and the maps will start to come alive.
Other days I will look around and see the same often underwhelming scenes that I am used to. |

The game has a very distinct and interesting style to it, it's just currently being let down by the hardware's inability to do it justice. This is half the PS3 being ancient and half choosing Unreal over something a little more bespoke.
As it happens, on February the 20th it looks like we're going to get first confirmation of the thing that's going to make Dust shine a couple of years from now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g82C4Nu_Jq8 |
