I think the OP is a moron. That's in fact very offensive.
He just wants an AV weapon that damages shields more than armor, and we've been wait god knows how long for the new weapons to come out. It's stupid how long it's taken. |

Same here, for the longest i ran Armor tank spec, switched to Shield tank for quite a while because of the mass militia swarm. However, my Shields/Armor skills are much better now, so i laugh at militia swarms...now for those pesky forge gunner...

For armor tanks you have swarms AND AV grenades... and orbitals.
Flux granades are very nice against shield tanks. Particullary I like to "hunt" tanks, even if I can't destroy them, just to make them move around without spam with their turrets. Yes, tanks can be kinda "destructive", but you must think that they see a Forge Gun, a Swarm Launcher or an AV user, and they run very scared.
Also, the most of the time, they are quiet in some place, "sniping". You just need 2 guys with AV and Flux granades, a nonohive, and you will destroy a tank in 10 seconds. They can't move too fast at first, so you can spam at least 3 or 4 granades without problem. 2 guys doing that it's better. Flux granades are great, but of course, you need to take down their armor, so go with some friend and destroy some tanks. And don't forget that you can use remote explosives, and proximity explosive with the vehicles, so you have many ways to "hunt" a tank.
Of course it's difficult if you want to make a 1 vs 1 fight against a tank, I mean, simple logic, don't pretend that will be "so easy" destroy a tank by yourself, but it can be possible. With more people, just with 1 more, it will be so much more easy.
PS: flux granades work very nice against infantry too. But you don't see a lot of people using them.
