I love Logi Suits but they seem to be a Minmatar thing right now. Anywho my fav faction is the Caldari State, I revere all that they stand for and would love to join you guys If you would be willing to have me as an Assault Trooper. Other than lat I have a Mic, can take orders ( I'm in and Airsoft Squad at my local club so its nothing new), and absolutely love Lore/ backstory elements and all that jazz. Im still trying to find the right Corporation for me and would really like to see you guys in action some time.

I dont really understand how the major factions affect character creation and alliances and what not.

It's loyalty to the Dead Six, its' leadership, and the State. I don't penalize people for dropping Matari, Gallente, or Amarrians into Dead Six. What's important are Funsies.

What might make Dead Six a somewhat unappealing corp to some EVE pilots right now is that someone actually put a 20 million ISK bounty on the corporation. We have :friends: that handle the OB stuff. Since DUST is my primary gig, it's hard for me as a CEO to coordinate any sort of EVE pilot recruitment with something they would want. I can't easily coordinate ops in EVE, I can't run missions with EVE people. While I don't enjoy the prospect of losing potential additions to the family, I don't want to make a promise to you and your friends that I have no idea whether or not I can keep yet. I was an EVE player for five years, so I know what it's like being in :mostly solo. must LF corp: mode. Had a -very- long employment history because :only person active during my play times.: I just can't guarantee we're what your EVE buddy is looking for. I have DUST mercs that -also- play EVE, but their pilots aren't in the corp and I don't know what their EVE hours are. Sorry mate. Good luck with the corp hunt. (Even though I sincerely hope you might come 'round and pop in with us just for the halibut.)

Like I said in the OP, we aren't here to say what -you- as a player can or can't do in the Dead Six. DUST is a game built around opportunity and experimentation. Staging tryouts and testing squads defeats the purpose of that. We exist to have fun, and provide a welcome environment that -any- gamer can find their niche in. Just send in an application and I'll accept it when I'm on. Edit to add- (Will be about an hour or so. In the middle of a movie, so my PS3 is occupied.)
