We are Mercenaries, DUST Operatives, Immortal Soldiers. We are a lot of things, but most importantly, we are all in the same boat together. We are more than a Corporation. We are a family. In order to survive in the Cluster, we must have respect for one another. Where the Dead Six go, we strive for excellence on the battlefield. We expect our operatives to maintain an elite level of respect for their superior officers as well as to their peers. We do not fight this war for ISK; we fight for the Caldari State. To be a Dead Six operative means driving those around you to succeed on and off the field. Tactical awareness. Operational security. Confidence. Respect. These are the traits of Dead Six Operatives. We take pride in our ability to pull a victory out of a near bitter defeat. We do not walk away from failure with our heads hung low. We pull our heads higher and say "We'll win the next one." -(OOC Version) We are a friends and family type of corporation. We're not about being top **** in DUST 514. If that's what you're hoping for, you'll be sadly disappointed. We don't want charity, we don't want to be all business all the time, we don't want your ISK. We just want to enjoy this game. We may troll local, we may roflstomp folks in games periodically, and we may get our asses handed to us. Really, we're just looking to have a good time. We see a lot of people that take DUST as seriously as they take a job. We're not like that. Dead Six Initiative is a casual corporation until you volunteer for something or are participating in a corp battle. If you are in a squad with Dead Six members, expect to be given orders. We strive for excellence in what we do. We may not be the best, but we sure as hell don't want to be the top dogs in DUST 514. We want to have fun. If you participate in Corporation Contracts, chances are you'll be expected to be GÇ£All BusinessGÇ¥ and follow orders. The reason for this is because corp battles are funded by the corporation wallet. There are no personal ISK or SP gains for rolling into a corp battle, so we like to hope you won't mess around in one. The Dead Six Initiative isn't supposed to be some overcomplicated EVE Corporation. It's a Corp for Dustbunnies, by a Dustbunny. I don't care if you're a Newberry/bunny or a BitterVet from the Closed Beta. My goal with DEAD6 isn't to make money off the corporation. It's to give people some common ground when it comes to playing the game. That's what we're about. We're a Caldari Loyalist corporation. We have a welcome home for RPers in DUST. We encourage our members to try new things. We DEMAND, that you have fun no matter what you're doing while you're with us. If you find we're not to you're liking, you're free to move on and there won't be any retaliation. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ At the moment, we offer a welcome home to Casual Gamers in addition to having a "Hard-Corps" division of DUSTbunnies. When it comes to squad leading and Corp Battles, we do require mics for these, but to be -in- Dead Six, they aren't a requirement. Our Public Channel is also open to those that just want some people to squad up, even if you're not into the Corp Itself. Even though I only started playing last night and the learning curve is pretty steep (there's still a lot about combat objectives I'm not too solid on since I only played ambushes), I have a pretty solid understanding of fits, developing skills, and the marketplace. I started as a sniper and I'm going to be fitting another scout suit for infiltration/CQC soon. I'm a casual player and won't be on every day due to my schedule. I have a mic that I don't use very frequently but will definitely used if requested or if it would benefit the squad. I look forward to hearing from you! I'm also applying/talking to other corps so I know I'm joining one that's the best for me, so please don't be offended if you see my post on another CEO's thread. Yoink, Hex

IMO, every squad should have a sniper or spotter because it helps us paint targets effectively. I'd be more interested in hearing what you want from me as the Corp CEO because quite frankly, it's just me right now. I can pitch you the "We'll be at the top [someday]" but being top dog isn't important to me. I'm more interested in helping NewBunnies get started and find out what they want to do. If they move on to another corp, that's fine. If they stick around and help us grow, that's even better. DUST is about being a team player, and that's what I want to really emphasize on. You can make your ISK in your own way. That doesn't matter. You can squad up with other people, be blue to other corporations, and there won't be a single problem with the Dead Six.
