It is too difficult fighting in the redline.
Too often I die for being in it too long, killing snipers and red dots as they snipe and spawn respectively. Too often I see tanks doing drive byes on the unsuspecting reddots, then run into something, lose their momentum, and get killed.
The Redline is OP.
Thus I propose the skill: Redline Operation And the secondary skill;(prerequisites; Redline Operation to 5) : Redline Operation Proficiency
The Redline Operation skill allows you to stay behind the redline for an extra 4 seconds per level. The skill Redline Operation Proficiency skill allows you to stay behind the redline for an extra 2 seconds per level.
Introducing these skills will nerf the over powered redline, and allow people to correctly enjoy and play the game we all love; Dust514. |

I think there is credit to this idea. CCP should look into it.
also, give Sniper rifles a 33% chance to catastrophically explode when fired. |

I think I read something about a future update where people will not earn SP from actions taken in the red zones. I can't find it, but I'm sure I read it on the forums. |

initially I wasn't sure about this idea, but when I thought about it...
If red-line snipers know they are safe in the redline, then they'll be less likely to give up and start redline sniping in the first place. This would only encourage to losing team to at least TRY and put up a fight. Makes the match more fun for BOTH sides.
Edit: I think 30 extra sec of redline (with Ops and Prof skilled up) is too much. No need for proficiency, just 5 levels of operations. And each level should be 2 sec. This way, it buys you 10 additional sec (25sec total, I believe) |

I fully agree. I dont think this should be in the game. If anything there should be investment on how to make redlining a little more balanced and challenging for the winning team. Maybe a rotating spawn site or the option of a MCC drop pop launcher. Pops would be too fragile for landing too close to structures but still places them randomly behind the redline.

+1 on the no isk no Wp while killijng in the redline. That will get the snipers/railtanks out of there. I remember a post about a green or blue line idea to cant remember the details just the line thing sounded good. not sure of the details. heck i forgot why im posting on here now. Oh yeah Nerf the redline. |

I have to agree that it's the Red line it's there for a reason - It's supposed to be a boundary of non-allowance - CCP is gracious enough to have a time limit and the time limit is pretty extensive IMO. If you know anything about the clone history you know that they can easily have their plug pulled for not following orders and doing things on their own. The red line symbolizes this. |

encourage people to get out of the redline by allowing them to be shot. and killed as normal
But... have it be so if you go on the redline your disapear for 30 seconds, but do not lose anything. (suit runs away, dropship picks you back up)
