I guess... But im sure if it provided sony with a ton of money theyd help ccp with upgrading it. I dont really know ccp never even heard of eve before dust. Perhaps it will get upgraded by ccp. I just thought if dust did REALLY well it get larger upgrades because theyd have sony backing the game. In other words i dont know but it will help if its more popular ;). |

It will still be constrained to an effective PS3 game until they drop support for the current console.
They won't have two builds and they wont split the player base.

So, the first thing that will be diffrent will be graphics, so it will look better on ps4, but have same mechanics/map size/team size/share player base with ps3 client. So ps3 and ps4 owners will play against each other, and any pc version that could appear, or xbox players if sony every loses exclusivity. Map size/player count increases beyond ps3's limit will wait till after ps3 support is dropped. |

It may look better, but if you think the mystical PS4 will give you anything else beyond a PS3 you can forget it.

If this ever comes to fruition.... peoples eyes will be temporarily blinded upon first contact with the superior particle effects, superb lighting, fine texturing, and awesome physics. Unreal is always the first to set the bar.

Not necessarily. FFXI is on PS2 and PC, and the PC version has better graphics, and fans have pushed it even further with .dat mods. The PC version is even getting a UI overhaul, eventually. It can be done.
Graphics wise, the only real trouble between having it on PS3 & PS4 would be having to make two sets of art assets for the different performance limits, and it's less actual trouble, but more "is the cost of doing it worth it?".
Now there are other issues, items rendered on screen (i.e. how big and how many people on a map) is going to hit a gameplay ceiling eventually, because of the PS3 hardware (and probably UT engine as well). You couldn't run say, a "PS4 player only" 500-1000 man matches, and leave the PS3 players out. Eventually to bring in some new features, PS3 will have o be sunset-ed, but, just for a version with better graphics, naw. |

Knowing CCPs track record for supporting antiquated technology, we can expect a good 2-3 years before PS3 support is dropped. By then the PS4 will likely be cheap enough to be worth buying, or we'll probably also have a PC version.  |

This just isn't true CCP have had eve online on new and old models at the same time. You just don't know how zbrush, normal mapping and retopogly work |

There is gore currently!
If you headshot someone there's quite a cool spray that flies out of their helmet. Nice dark red. Once, as a sniper, I ony knew a guy who was hiding from me was killed because the spray flew out past the cover he was behind
I thought that was a pretty awesome way to confirm a kill! |

The less involvement Sony has with ANY part of the game, the better..if Sony had its way it would turn into EverEve and Caldari prime would be called Qeynos prime. |

Looks like someone photoshopped it into the suit, then photoshopped fake hair and whiskers on it... probably what happened in a nutshell; looks frickin weird, and obviously not rendered together. The suit doesn't even appear to be so much rendered as 2D drawn; it's terrible.
How is it that people think that sort of thing is representative of quality graphics? |
