This of course doesn't apply to pilot end of the battles. There is a change to squad sizes happening next week most likely from 4 men to 6. Pub matches will go up to 48. If they keep Corp battles at half the Pub match number then this Tourney will be held at 12 vs 12. I really hope so 8v8 would be kinda lame for a tourney. The 16v16 was really nice, it made for some epic battles.
I agree. Hopefully if this update drops in time we'll get at least 12 v 12. |

How about giving some isk to the winner Corps?
like having somekind of entrance fee for corp lets say 10Mil
the the prize pool will go to the winner 50%
to the 2nd Place 35%
and to the 3rd Place 15%
Like this the prize can be distrubuted between the corp members or who ever the winner corps decide to
the money should be given by Dust Player For dust players |

why hand out seed points for being able to stream or post on youtube? what if ppl choose not to upload footage till possibly after the tourney or never?
have u figured out a start time for this yet? i know u want the 5th to be the deadline but i told u the 9th-14th ill be partying
lastly how long u plan to run it? all in 1 week/weekend? or spread out like CCP tourney was?
need to know before committing to anything

If you are ok with answering some of these until Kain can come by for further clarification.
The point of this tournament is to show old and new players some of the great in game battles in Dust 514, we are promoting the game and its players.
The seed points for Youtube and Streaming are only a .5 its a bonus to those that can provide this service. But we all understand that not everyone can or will be able to do it. We have offered other types of options to make up for not being able to stream/Youtube.
Working on starting date, Kain will follow up and give more details but this weekend maybe the tentative start.
We finished the seed point structure last night and when I get Kains OK, once of us will post how it works.
If you have other questions and want to chat in game, ill be on all weekend. Send a chat room or squad invite.
Keep an eye on this thread for more updates through out the day. |
