Following today's patch (30/1) the audio glitches are worse than ever. Maybe caused by all the background explosions?
I like the new AR sound -- when I actually hear it which is < 50 % of the time...
EDIT: Actually, it's not even audio glitches at this point. Audio is broken. |

CCP - I'm sad to say that this is the most disappointing thing that has happened so far in the beta - closed and open.
Whatever update you have intended to do has caused massive problems with audio across the board. Surely this was play-tested in house before rolling it out to the beta? How could these changes have possibly been approved when so many problems now arise from them? |

I'm getting the same thing, some parts if audio work like my assault rifle when I fire it but otherwise it's like everything's been muffled |

same here, no gun sounds or hitting sounds, sometimes no sound at all, really disconnects me from the game. |

There's a huge issue with sound priorisation. Stuff like being able to clearly hear the nanohive beside you operating but not being able to hear the weapon of the enemy you are fighting or your own weapon. |

Audio is distorted, when I can actually hear it, which is less than 80%of the time. The most frequent sounds I can hear are the background noises while weapon sounds are least likely to be audible.
From most to lest likely to be heard; Music > ambient noises > my own weapon > any other weapon/any deployed gear. |

It's hard to miss that kind of problem in playtesting- apparently whatever other changes in the patch were made, it's more important for them to get data/feedback on that then to hold off until they track down an audio bug.
Not a huge deal, really. |
