Real HMGs are more or less instant fire. Once the trigger is pulled, the bolt which is generally in the open position will shoot forward loading a round and firing it. Modern day Gatling guns, like the Vulcan or the Minigun, have about 0.3 of a second between pulling the trigger and the gun firing full auto. Seen as this a wee it in the future Blink

this would be further refined.

The heavy at present will of course feel a bit OP, as there is a bunch of new folk in militia suits, only starting to learn the game. It does not need a nerf or extra added like 'spool up'. Just learn it's strengths and weakness'.

Just learn it's strengths and weakness'. the heavy will feel OP to a newberry when people like me are running a A-type with enhanced damage mods, an MH-82 HMG and 2x complex armor reps for max recovery. Of course it will feel OP until they get into an A-type assault suit with a GEK-38 and complex shield extenders or damage mods with reps in the lows. hey now im not a newberry i just suck and i think i have die to everything perrty evenly besides av's as i love playing chicken with them...

There's a lot of these. Just them in general. Didn't mean any offense. oh i know and most of this op vs not op eta flame wars are nothing but cheap entertainment that has lot it novilty for the most part(and that reminds me i should cancel my shipment of popcorn)

Blueberries have a tendency to run headfirst into everything and get shot full of holes no matter what the enemy is using. true but i dont have a mic and dont plan on joining a corp/pmc for some time so it hard for me to test in a control setting. this why PVE would be helpful....
