I would like to add a game mode where EVE players can hire DUST players to explore uncharted planets. When the planet is fully explored, players from both games can claim it. |

I doubt the Devs would ever do this, BUT, that would be a cool expansion |

EVE ships probably have good enough sensors that they can totally map everything important about a planet from orbit. Certainly you can get a fine topographical and geological assessment of a planet via orbit. I like gameplay variety, I think PvE has its place, but exploring "uncharted" places would be strange. Now, ruined structures and derelict facilities? Sure, explore those. Throw some bad guys in there, take some friends along. But we're a little past the days of coureur des bois going through the New World via canoe to explore uncharted reaches. |

Pretty much agree with this. Might twist it so Eve players do the scanning, and it shows there are 3 rouge drone bases on the planet that Dust players need to clear out before EvE players can start mining the planet. |

I'm OK with XXfootnoteXX's idea. |

This is whats called "Planetary interaction" In Eve so you get some of this already. its mostly to see where are the concentrations of resources to lay out your "mining" operation |
