They are supposed to feel that way. A scout suit is supposed to not limit your movement in any way. Things are supposed to drop from there. The scout is the starting point in the mobility field, and the other suits are supposed to gradually decrease in mobility based on it's purpose. Throw enough armor on a scout suit, it's mobility drops as well.
I'll watch your video later and revise my statement accordingly based on your observations. |

Just an update on my promise to change my statement according to your commentary, this isn't a twitch shooter, it's a tracking shooter. Twitch helps very little here, it's not a game where the first person to shoot wins. Now, to continue the video... I'll be back with more comments if need be. |

All weapons have a range that can be increased via a skill that corresponds to the weapon type you are using. That's why a lot of your ranged shots didn't connect, you were out of range.
And I hold by my statement on movement, it's by design. If you want more twitch, you have to sacrifice health. If you want health, you have to sacrifice twitch. It's a balancing issue.
Last remark, need to squad with people who know the game well to truly experience what it's like. They can answer any questions you have and fill you in on any gaps in your knowledge about how Dust's inner workings function (ie differences in use for armor and shields, how to fit your own dropsuits properly, etc.). If you want, you are welcome to join our public channel. We can fill you in on anything you need to know, most of us have been in Dust for over 5 months and know how things work. Chat channel is L.O.T.I.S. To join a chat channel, press the select button and scroll to the bottom of the tab list to the "+". It will say CREATE/JOIN. Select that and you can input a chat name. Input the chat channel, in this case "L.O.T.I.S.", and confirm it, and you will join the channel. Good luck out there. |
