My goodness, I go 16-2 but our team still loses in Ambush because of crappy teammates. This needs to be fixed by adding FFA so that I could win without having a luck of decent teammates. |

I for one rather play on a losing team than a free for all.
Also, how would it fit in the general premise of corporations duking it out? |

Not into ffa personally. But maybe as like gladiator thing to determine who gets to carry out the highest paying contracts. Or for pure eve entertainment so they could bet on a cempetitor and watch live streams in their ships? Dunno just kicking it around. |

^ IF this idea is to be implemented, I would say that this is probably the best way to do it. Furthermore, I'd suggest that such gladiatorial, free for all combat be using equipment load outs designed by either corporate sponsors ( read: EVE Online players) or the requirements of the match itself. Thus, this would become rather similar to the Roman Coliseum matches. As such, these matches will be more recreation than actual mercenary assignments. |

Haven't thought of a "gadiator" style FFA.
But I wouldn't restrict the allowed equipment, I'd say let everyone use whatever he or she can afford to lose. To spice things up, there could be an ISK entry fee, that would be distributed amongst the top three players ( for example first gets 60% of the pot, second gets 30%, third 10%)
Also, I'd actually prefer last man standing over a FFA with respawns until a kill limit is reached. |

ofc FFA should not replace any 'normal' formats, but if added properly it is an ok addition. Gladiator fights might be an ok excuse. |

Not only does this make no sense, but think about what this would mean. Several mercs spawning into an area, all killing each other the second they see each other... which is usually during the spawning process. Plus all the gear just thrown away, costing tons of ISK and AURUM, and there isn't a feasible purpose to it.
Also, you may have gone 16-2, but did you help hack? Get any points? Defend? Heal? Resupply? KDR is a poor metric of success, especially here. |
