I really like that part of MAG. How about a Dust 514 version. Could be a form of Alternate Advancement. Gain skills up the tree and unlock new abilities. |

Current system needs no changes, but I would like to see the implementation of the Certificate system from EVE Online, which uses certificates that unlock with a certain combination of skills to help new players better plan their specializations. |

The current SP system is a skill tree just in list form.
It would be nice to have an alternate view so that non-eve and newer players could understand the system. At least in a form that most gamers are use to.
Mobius's idea is also excellent. It has the advantage of suggesting the best skills for specializations like HAV pilot or Recon Scout. |

Sort of how our current Skill Tree works except just from a different game? Or is this a special feature from the doomed game with the closed developer studio and the many articles about how and why it failed? Play MAG if you want their features.
This is DUST. Connected at the hip to EVE Online. Put the SP in and get the functionality out. Add more and increase the bonus of the Skill. |

I would still like to have the nested skill requirement style of view from EVE, where in the prerequisite tab, you have the primary/secondary/tertiary skill required for the item, and under those you have their reqs, and on and on so at a glance you can see what skills are needed at what levels before you can train the next skill on the way up to what you want. |

I like the idea of a EVE based skill tree plus certicates, which do help u get the right skills trained, but not the different types of learning ie there Memory, Intelligents, Perception, Charisma, willpower, as each skill has one of these skills as primary plus secondary etc etc.
thats a mine field when you are a yr a new Pilot, i know I got it all wrong when I started playing EVE, I was lucky to meet some very helpful guys who sorted me out |

I like this skill tree, and would rather have it like this, then the one in Uprising, could we have a choice for which we want? |

Confirmed that the list form will be retained for "those that like lists" It's optional
