Okay let me further interate, why should I not be able to give a corpie all the isk I could want? After all there will be equipment and items in dust 514 that will eventually cost multiple billions of isk. Such as going out to purchase an entire base or an anti-capital ship sky fire battery.
As for your response.
Part of the game. Anyone can rob anyone else blind in this game as long as they do not involve real life assest such as credit cards and houses its fair game. Hijacking an entire corp is common practice in new eden. Choose your friends wiesely. |

Now if they set roles for people under directors to be able to allow or disallow corp wallet acces I be fine with that but limiting thier withdrawl ammounts I will have to say no. |

Directors are basically 2nd in commands and have the same power just in case CEO isn't on and something bad is happening. |

CookieStein wrote:So I take it between the few alliance denials here and the General thread that was locked that a theft didn't occur? Surely you guys can understand that between the language of his first two posts (and "my the CEO" makes absolutely no sense unless it was supposed to be 'me', hence the confusion as to him being CEO in the first place) and Mavado your own first comment "working as intended...." that the assumption that there was a theft was a pretty safe one.
Good luck in the damage control guys (I sincerely mean that) cause this thing snowballed fast.
Just a general comment, not pointing any fingers, people have to be careful and think about what they post, tweet, comment on etc. cause rumour and assumption can very easily get out of control. Something that was 'front page' news and then gets retracted never has as large an audience the second time around.
Choose your words carefully everyone, just saying.
The problem is there is no way to prove it, they could have scrambled to get the isk back in to prevent lackies from confirming the story. Or removed role from one guy or forced him to give it back or else. Also asking the 'stupid question' or in this scenario 'the stupid suggestion' while I don't want to berate anyone in asking in the future it is just that the common generator of either is usually victimization, its extraordinarily rare that someone would go out of their way to test systems for exploits without some level of self gain. As for counter intel responses, they're quite typical as they do read the forums, analyze the on goings, and laugh just as hard and share with their friends when even at the suggestion of a screw up is brought to bear.
I know I got a few dozen red and black flags. The most prominent ones, 'do not promote with game mechanics' and 'cant' keep mouth shut.'
Overall... How best to deal with damage control for the future of your corpses in case you guys fall apart? Oddly enough, Lie. Pin blame on a specific person alt and delete him and make it a lesson learned and a warning for future ceo's and mercs. With no dust 514 api, you have the nice grace of no evidence ever being possible.
Anyways you're free to come up with others but suggesting that option now invalidates its use.
Welcome to New Eden politics.
btw developers have access to logs. |
