Well for one, each and every PC shooter is infested with cheaters, be it just the closet ESP/wallhackers or the blatant aimbotters.
Ive played every PC shooter worth playing and each and every one of them has cheaters that pay a subscription fee at their local cheaters hub that delivers them cheats that aren't picked up by the anti-cheats, or warns its players when its not safe.
Wallhacks, Speedhacks, Flyhacks, no-spread, unlimited ammo, no recoil, unlimited stamina or just a few one of those packs comes with...its really not funny to go up against these guys match after match...
Each time there is a patch/banwave the skill level of these players drops, but after 2-3 days they are back at peak efficiency, ie: cheating their nuts off and calling you scub or PWNED as they walk trough a wall and kill your team in a split second.
Sure eventually they get banned, but when its a F2P game, they just make a new account to not "have fun" but to ruin "your fun", when they are ruining your day, then they having fun.
APB, APB R, War Z, COD, BF3 and it would also have been Dust 514 if it had been on pc, 1 hacker, 1 match could cost a player allot of ISK or ruin what would be otherwise a good game.
At least on the console when i get owned, i can blame myself or concratz the otherguy on a shot well done, on PC i am constantly wondering "how the F....did he pull that shot off at 90 meters full auto?" But on here i have not had any sort of wtf moment whatsoever. Unless they can fix cheating on pc altogether, and this being my first console shooter since Wolfenstein 3D on the PC 20 years ago, i dont think ill be going back to the cheating infsted pc shooters.
And the most advocate people on the forum saying there are no cheaters on the game ussually are the cheaters...
So with that i think Dust has a leg up vs its cheating infested competition.
