Going to be making an Assault suit, hoping to take on more of a supportive, AoE damage role in combat. Is that a good combination? I normally would use Logistics, but I prefer the appearance and speed of the Assault suit. |

Logi VK1 is faster than any assault suit. It also has more slots for gear and stuff that can make you move faster ;)
edit: there's optimal, and then there's what you want to do. If you want to be in an optimal supportive role, go logi. If you like assault, why not? |

Agreed.
I have always seen Mass drivers and logi suits paired up. Doesn't mean you cant do it though.

I would use a SMG over the scrambler pistol.
And nanohives.

Personally I prefer the Scrambler as I have yet to recover the last SMG WHOD*. Each level into Scrambler gives another round in the clip and head shots really do put the Reds down quickly.
There are many that still prefer the SMG so try them both and make your own decision.

I purchased a Burst Pistol, and I like it. The SMG's recoil bothers me a lot, and the noises it makes are ungodly. |
