Let's start off on snipers. I like them, they are well balanced. But a request for future maps: Open them up, with all the cover inside the buildings(or whatever you would like to call them) sniper's cant do much without getting 1shotted from an assault rifle.
Heavy's: I think they are OP, they can take a load of damage, and they can deal a lot of it at the same time. If I see one, no matter what class I play, I just run because there is no way to kill one unless it's 5v1.
Tanks: I havn't piloted a tank yet, but I've been a gunner, and that thing is very innacurate. I could be pointing one way and the thing would literally fire the opposite direction.
Anti armor: Kind of useless, not many people use tanks unless they bought their way through the game, it's very early for some people (unless you play 24/7) to have tanks I have only seen 2 tanks today so i suggest giving the anti armor class a better pistol to start off the game.
Medics: Make it easier to revive people, give them weapons with more armor peircing weapons, it would make sense since they are medics and they specialize in clones, and they should be able to know what ammunition does the most damage. However their weapons would be very weak against shields, which is why there should be a increased magazine capacity
Frontliners: Pretty balanced. Maybe more hardhitting weapons idk. Can't say much it looks balanced to me
Pay 2 Win factor: lower the pay to win factor. The damage differences of the same weapons are very large, and should be changed, to make it a little more even. Actually, almost every thing you can buy in the store is incomparable to the things you can buy with real money.
Spawns: Spawns in ambush (Deathmatch) should be edited, i dont like spawning on top of the enemy team, and im sure nobody else likes that.
Main Objectives:They should be a little more spread apart, i know on a few maps they are closer together, or even closer to one team's spawn. It should be more balanced.
Skill Points: Lower the skill point requirement to buy things, it's very difficult to get skill points, I get 50 a game with a booster, i dont think i want to play for a month just to get level 3 things.
All that help stuff: There is so much reading to do in the game just to get a simple point, for instance, i read one of the health tips, it was about one page of reading. I only got a few sentences of useful information out of it. Some people want to get in the game as quick as possible, because they want to get the most of it. If I wanted to read I would go to the local library. Also, even within those large tutorial pages, some things are still confusing.
Graphics: Great grapics, really cool, sounds are great. texture bugs (Less bugs than expected!)
These are my two cents about the game so far. Sorry for my poor grammar, spelling, or if I'm too vague. Game looks great so far!

I have a few points to counter you with.
You state heavy is OP because it takes more damage... and can dish it out... It is working as intended this is not COD or BF3 we do not have the same health as others. The heavy gets more armor but less shields and it is slower than all hell. also it has the fewest high and low slots in the game.
This game doesn't have "Medics" it has logibros or logistics. Some of us do choose to specialize in reviving and repairing our teammates but others specialize in drop uplinks and remote explosives.
There is no pay to win pay to get access faster yes but no pay to win anything someone bought with AUR (the currency purchased with real money) can be bought with ISK (money earned in game) you just get that access a day or Thitwo earlier. Now each weapon has 4 tiers of gear Militia (crap) Standard, Advanced, and Prototype, each of the tiers (except MLT to Standard) has a damage increase so if someone dumped all of their points into a weapon they could be running about blasting you in the face with that weapons greatest PURCHASABLE iteration. there are better weapons but must be salvaged from the battlefield and are just ungodly amazing.
and a final point any class can equip any weapon (except heavies which are ATM limited the well the heavies AKA the HMG that ate you up when you ran directly at it like the newberry you are) so I as a logibro can equip well just about anything if i wanted to equip swarms sure why not? SO weapons (except heavy ones) are not limited by any kind of "CLASS".
Welcome to New Eden it hates you and will kill you A lot for no apparent reason hope you enjoy your stay! Sorry Mr. Nerd. There are such things as medics in the game Militia-Medic You can pay to get items faster, while everyone else has to slowly, day by day, get their 50spm per game(if you have a booster). So if one person has the best possible weapon, while someone who has spent around the same time still has a tier 3-4 weapon it's not fair and it is pay to win, because the person who paid for it, has the advantage. You said Heavy's have low shields, well shields regenerate, and if you dont kill the heavy before they get into cover then the shields will regenerate, and you'll have to go at it wasting your ammo. I don't run into heavy's, the map forces you to get into medium range combat, and the heavy's can kill you from medium range. Realistically, if you dont pay for the game, guns are limited to class, because it will take you maybe a year of 24/7 gaming to get every single gun unlocked for one class. However if you like to reach into your back pocket, then sure you might have all of the guns purchased along with skills. Salvaged weapons aren't unlimited, they last a few rounds depending how much you die, so that basically doesn't matter.I don't know why you're so negative, I gave feedback to the developers who asked for feedback, I gave it to them. |
