We have some snipers in The corp, and they told me that this is The best sniper rifle, am I missing something, this charge sniper have over 250 damage, better then all The others on The marked.

Yes it's true, but it is useless unless you skill up in weaponry/Sniper Proficiency and use damage mods. If you don't get a OHK with the weapon it's purpose is defeated.
It does need to be looked at though imo, I would say move it up to an advanced sniper and increase it's CPU and PG requirements. |

Charge rifle does beastly damage, but (as the name suggests) you have to charge it first, much like a forge gun - which means that you can't engage a target instantly, and if you don't kill with your first shot, you probably won't get a second. |

it's not the strongest rifle in the game, but is the second strongest. The strongest is a named officer rifle I can't remember atm that ya can only obtain from salvage. That one ya have to have sniper lvl 5 to use and is pretty beastly. For the most part tho the charged is the best sniper if you find yourself a nice snipers nest to perch in. Tho any good sniper worth his salt never stays put for very long and is with a squad in the heat of battle more often than not so the later rifles with faster rates of fire end up being better for those situations. It's all based one what situation you find yourself in tho. As with everything the true potential of any weapon is only realized with a good squad and strong team work. |
