$20 that gave you a code, a BPO suit, a BPO SMG, and some other little trinkets. This was fine during the closed beta. When we bought the merc pack, we also bought the code to go with it, now the code is useless. It needs to be removed, and be replaced with something else, or lower the price of the merc pack to something around $15 instead.
Right now, the merc pack is a rip off. Please fix it. |

I don't know about that due to the increase in BPO prices I think this might be right around what it is worth. Being that the Valor scout cost might close to 10 dollars itself and it requires you to skill into scout suits and the dragonfly does not. |

Now that I have thought about it for a second, I think it would be really cool to see a merc pack catering to each suit specialtiy available right now.
an assault merc pack
a heavy merc pack

I believe you still get more AUR for $20 by getting the merc pack than buying AUR only. Plus the active booster for 30 days which is worth a bit of AUR on it's own. So still worth it IMO, but I wouldn't complain about getting more xD. The Toxin SMG BPO is worth more too now, considering the prices of the other BPOs increased by so much. |

I bought 2 more after I had code, so it was worth it to me.
If we get a new merc pack, I'll most likely buy it. I want demon shotgun, please have demon shotgun in it. |

i wouldn't mind new specials every now and then, but think about this: the merc pack is 20$ worth of aurum for 20$. less if you got it during a ps store sale. everything else is just gravy?
to complain that the "beta access" is still in there seems like a waste of energy. try to ignore it? >.> |

The beta code was an extra, you were paying for the aurum, consumables and bpo weapon and dropsuit.

By your logic everyone who has paid for a merc pack beyond the first one during closed beta has been ripped off.
$20 gets you
40K AUR, ($20 value in itself)
Plus
Fused locus nades(Hardly a trinket and exclusive to merc pack)
30 Day booster(would cost your 28K AUR to get 28 days of active boost otherwise)
50 Shotties
50 Hacked uplinks(Only available in merc pack and the ONLY LINK to allow TEAM SPAWN)
Dragonfly scout suit(BPO) okay past the first useless, but can be sold on player market Soon TM
50 Myofibril stimulants(Probably worst module in merc pack)
Toxin SMG(BPO) See dropsuit above
Oh yea total ripoff.

Here let me add to that.
The shotgun is Prototype level, requires no skills to be used either. Uplinks are great asset. Stimulants, I really don't care about, Toxin is completely damn useful, should be worth around $10 bucks in itself, and the scout suit is pretty useful. |

Ok has to be one of the dumbest post i have seen in awhile the beta access was a bonus for buying a merc pack you twit.
An on a further note the Merc pack is well worth the 20 for it as a 30-day booster alone would cost you about 30ishk aurum on the market to equal it so it's true value is almost double what you actully pay for it |

Right now you get the BPO stuff, free 30 day active booster, and 20 dollars worth of Aurum. If you spent $20 on just aurum, that's all you would get. Still a great deal imho. |

There have always been two versions, one with the code and one without the code.
I'd expect the one with code to be removed now we're in Open Beta.
As to changing anything else about the Merc Pack, no thanks leave it as it is.
Of course if CCP introduced a Merc Pack II (or III, IV, or V) with different items I'd pick those up too  |

The thing is still a good deal. truthfully I think the lot of it beyond the aur and the skillpoint implant (save money if I bought normally) is crap, which I don't use but I certainly won't turn down extra crap when getting stuff I want at regular or discount price.
scout suits don't interest me much, when I thought of mercenary I thought assault suit.
A future deal that would be good is a similar one for a assault suit or heavy suit, someone else might be interested in logistics who isn't me (because I already got the BPO fancy log suit). |
