From what I've seen in some MMOs, there needs to be a new quick battle system- depending on player preference.
The concept is pretty simple- by default, a quick battle would drop you in any type of battle on any map. However, the player could modify the list of maps and modes the battle finder chooses from. Don't like manus peak ambush? You can make sure it never puts you in those battles; don't like skirmishes? You can turn all skirmish maps off.
This seems simple to me, but if you're confused, just let me know. |

Basically replace the CoD-style "you're going to get a map, and you're gonna like it!" with a system that lets you narrow down your prefrences? I honestly don't see why not - although some maps may become ghost towns if enough people hate it... Although in a sandbox that isn't necessarily a bad thing, especially with an RvB-style player corp... |

If a map becomes a ghost town, that's probably a really big hint that the map has some serious flaws, and to try avoiding structure combinations like that in the future. |

Problem there is they'll never figure out what those flaws actually are if nobody plays the map anymore. I'm sure there will be favourites but in the interest of the beta, the random selection is needed. |
