Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't most HMG's have tracer rounds? Never really thought of it before, & I was watching Sucker Punch, the scene at the temple with the giant Samurai like warriors. One of them has a HMG, and it looks awesome with the tracer rounds!!! I thought to myself, my HMG doesn't look that awesome when I fire it  What do you guys think? Tracers on HMG & turret guns, where applicable? |

Features and Ideas. HMGs are minmatar, so I think some sort of tracer would be cool. But you mostly use those for long distances anyways. HMGs are a fairly close range weapon. |

Its a pitty there just minmatar. As a minmatar I would still love to see a laser varient or a gallate hybrid varient. |

Tracers have been tactically useful for directing squad fire as well. |

From the view of the HMG operator there are tracers. Not big red glowing ones but the virtual lead is quite visible. Even on the mini-map. I use that to as indicator of spawn points to avoid. |

Laser varient would be amarrian. However theres not reason for you not to skill and equip it if its released. 
Im looking forward to the scrambler rifle tbh. |

Tracers would likely result in less damage, at least for the tracer-round.
Still, could look cool, especially during the night-time fights. |
