1.) When you die, do you lose stuff that you gotta re-buy?
2.)Are vehicles unlimited, like in BF3 (They spawn, or you 'call' them)
3.)Which is the best way to gain the points to upgrade/buy stuff?
4.)How does the game work? Are you in a server that last for ever (Like PlanetSide2) or in a server like a CoD game?
Thanks for the people that will bother answering.
1.) Yes, most of the stuff you will buy you should buy in bulk, i personally like the number 20. After you die (unless you are revived) you will lose the Dropsuit you were wearing as well as any equipment or modules you had equipped on it. There are items that do not disappear though called BPO (Blueprint Original) Items that you can buy for A LOT of Aurum. You also have 5 Stater Fits that never go away, that you always have access to and can use for a variety of situations until you decide what kind of career you'd like to have.
2.) Only the Starter LAV (Light Assault Vehicle a.k.a. Death Taxi a.k.a. a Jeep with a gun on it.) is Unlimited. Everything else you buy works just like it does with your Dropsuits. If it gets blown up you need to buy a new one. The Vehicle Fitting system is just as, or even more so, complex as the Dropsuits.
3.) Play the game. In all seriousness, there isn't really a "Defined" better way to get SP. There is an SP cap in place and it's not hard to hit it. Play for about 2-3 hours at max and your gonna be at the cap. It all depends on how well you do in the match, and that depends on how you choose to proceed with your career.
4.) We share a single shard server with EVE Online. Wars have been raging in EVE long before any of us Dust Bunnies got here. The matches we play in are on Planets that exist in the EVE universe. The Quick Battle Maps take place in HIGH SEC where matchmaking is done by the system. Faction Warfare (Called Corp. Contracts in DUST) takes place in LOW SEC EVE space and can only be done if you belong to a DUST corporation. The planets we fight on exist in real time in EVE space and we can even receive Orbital Support (Think Manhattan Project) from orbiting EVE ships that are floating in space above the Planet.
I hope this helps.
Keep the faith.
