Well its been a while since I compiled such a list of minor annoyances, I sorta stopped when CCP got into busy mode and haven't been clear on the up and coming soon.
Anyways what is a bullet?
A small annoying bug, imperfection, or inconvenience that just annoys you to no end in Dust 514.
While it may or may not be an easy fix they are should be overall low effort (some may be deceptively high effort though) and low impact things to fix and most wouldn't even be considered a 'bug' but rather a 'feature.'
Previous 101 bullets were widely successful with over 500 bullets total fired and about 50% fired rate. So I felt it was time to generate a new one.
However as this beta SP gains are slow and low and I am not everywhere I need your help to complete and compile the list especially in categories I am not skilled into.
Broken down into categories and placement take a read and understand this too is work in progress and will be retried at the end of chromosome and a new list generated next build.
Remember the bullets remain on the list as long as it remains or it gets nullified by abstract means (ie. complaining about the star-map that was removed for example nullifies the entire bullet list for the star map)
I am also aware of making list topics, however I rather not flood the forums with multiple thousand threads and you would not appreciate that either. Short sweet simple annoyances is all I am listing. I mean if I made 150 threads for each one of these complaints you would more likely hate me.
However... If you feel about any of these bullets strongly and think they deserve their own thread please please please do not be discouraged and actually go out and make your own and go into full details as to why it is a bad 'feature.'

XMB Page- No quick link to the store to buy new Aurum packs before going into the game. Unsure if this is a ps3 hard coded layout.
- Some information that could point players to www.dust514.com is missing.
Dust 514 Website
- pop up windows of 'previously saved draft' and 'draft saved' are in the text fields often and block letters on the last line in particlarlly long posts and are most annoying. Move them out of text window give them dedicated space so they don't shift the entire window every time they pop up similarly to eve online forums.
- Notifications via forums are not yet implimented.
- Ticket Submission severly lags and almost requires a second ticket submission to get the first ticket to register on our accounts of submitted tickets. Logging in and out does not correct or update the tickets until the second one is submitted.
Introduction Phase/Screen/Start/Character Creator
- War barge model lighting is still not consistent with Eve Online's quality
- Magma Planet has oddly bold green neon atmosphere that looks out of place.
- War barge model are lacking windows typical of most eve online ships and look out of place entirely.
- Stars are barely visible on even the sunless pans of the fly byes.
- Character Lifetime Isk is inaccurate, should be renamed to Personal wallet as it only reflects current isk.
- The item claiming widow is rather annoying in player flow and needs cleaning up from acknowledging there are items to be claimed, selecting items and assigning them and/or ignoring the window until later
- Character's Corporation Logo is inaccurate, only reflecting the faction the corp might be in.
- There is no indicator on how to skip the intro movie.
- Characters on selection screen don't have notification notices such as updates, corp responses, or messages.
- Bloodline race previews... while its a bit early for character customization some people would benefit from knowing what their blood line looks like with a static 2-d picture.
- Theming the Empires out, when picking empires have the menu color change a bit to help flavor the empire.
- Starting Job preview needs to be clearer. Such as picture of the suit, weapons they start with and icons that are class defining.
- Missing a clock in New Eden time on the load start screens so those who have DT in their zones would know how much time they have.
- About to connect 'Server Connection' window needs to include daily downtime schedule.
- Less lore and more clarity when picking a starting class. Or a big at the start list of things that class does or supposed to do and starts with then the lore.
- NPE Video Audio does not match onscreen narrative (ie mentioning stuff like character sheet but its on fitting video wise)
- No aurum amount listed on the account during character selection. No quick option to buy PSN Aurum from same location.

- Empire Videos on Eve Online need to be kidnapped for dust 514's purposes when choosing a race, edit later to include dust 514 technologies.

- The most annoying is the button to access neocom is a bit inconsistent with its side and buttons to bring the menu up.
Such as select being on the opposite side of the neocom but L1 on the same side
- Assets need to be its own button instead of hidden away in the market button
- Inconsistent menu controls one button should always be accept, another always cancel, another always more info, and one more for 'option 2'
- Assets is missing search function
Market
- Missing Search Functions
- Several Militia items are missing blueprints
- Several Militia items are out of line due to the nature of the item, additional adjustments would be welcomed to encouraging item upgrades
- Several items do not have a Militia variant
- Several items do not have sufficient number of variants such as an 'overlord' code breaker with +cpu fit +hack speed
- Several prototype items are not scaled well with the power curve as well in various categories
- Assault 'Relic' cosmetic suit dodged the purge
- Various markets have different items from others, hard to verify if corrected, Relic was the suit noted at the time
- Heavy suits have no 'tribute' variant
- Not all markets are evenly populated with items, some markets have more items than others for a npc provided market
- Gallente LAV is inexplicably more expensive than the Caldari counter part for no logical reasoning
- Pop up from buying items to go to fitting should be removed, instead a shortcut on market view pane to go to the appropriate fittings page instead
- Pop up from buying implants to go to fitting should be removed, instead a shortcut on market view pane to go to augmentations page instead when browsing implant items
- Item Descriptions do not contain variant specifications in the more detail window where as the small window did
- Unable to filter by usable
- Unable to filter/sort out Aurum items
- Of all the annoying popups there is not a pop up for an Aurum purchase
- Skill Indicators often Green Checks Books one level before. This is confusing feature. If needed a yellow circle books
- Various complaints of isk label and actual price mismatching. Very difficult to verify
Item Preview
- Should have a dedicated previewer instead of borrowing the fitting window interface and shadow circle
- All suit previews with no weapons on some outfits do not need to have the character idling instead of the 'T' position
- Being able to swap between male and female suit previews
- Being able to free float the camera to pan and scroll
Fitting
- A shortcut to the market should be available as well and remember the previous market page and in the appropriate market sections of the selected slot (light weapon slot go to market button takes player to the weapon market)
- An indicator on how much the currently selected module is slicing out of the current load would be helpful
- Rarely an invalid fitting error occurs with no explanation
- Its possible to have invalid fitting error while equipping the wrong sized weapon upgrades and it does not produce error message
- There is no invalid fitting error for throwing an afterburner on a ground vehicle, or a nitros on a aircraft
- Invalid fitting errors should have unique icons, X Book for no skill, X gun for lack of weapons, Exclamation CPU or PG icons for lack of fitting
- Unable to choose restocking options such as boxed (separated inventory), stock to, and stock add
Skills
- A small legend/key to what the book color means would be most helpful to new players
- No planner mode available
- Several Skills have 0 bonuses, 0 reverse bonuses (where bonus is on item depending on skill) or no unlocks per level
- Some skills are actually counter productive (Laser + Light Sharp Shooter) to train up
- Weapon skills could use a new category 'precision' that increases the bubble of optimal or increases optimal damage
Social
- Mail Windows are extremely too small for viewing
- No HTML support (not sure if possible)
- Wonders if its possible to not use play station's own text entry box for various fields such the mail sending
- In channels there is no auto assume text entry box when you start typing with keyboard
- Press R key to type is hidden or not clearly laid out for those of us using keyboards
- Missing a private messaging system
- Chat windows cannot be stretched out far enough to see it all suggested increase of 1/3
- Mailing list feature missing
- Because of said missing mailing list feature the corp wide mails do not function
- Adjustable Fronts are a wanted feature for those with ultra high definition or super low definition TVs
- Chat responses LAG
- If entering entries into chat fast enough its possible to deliver messages out of order, this may be a display error
- Notifications flash button when minimized needs to change color or animate differently than selected comm channel
Corporations
- Search for corp function should be over hauled to be more intuitive and matching corp finder in eve
- Corps should be able to setup properties at least and pay for advertising to be matched with corp finder
- Corp finder is a bit... odd. It should also default to search instead of friend list corp
- Corporations found though friend list should have the option to be applied to from there
Augmentations
- There is no quick back from market if a player decides to buy more implants
- Booster/Implant Expires on DD/MM/YYYY. Would be useful information
Tutorial/Help
- Tutorial video should not be skippable when viewing for the first time
- When not the first time viewing there needs to be an indicator on how to skip.
- More tutorials and better tutorial flow
- Every page should have a help page and a easy consistent button for it all

Avatars, War Room and Quarters
- Still can't swing camera to the front of my character to admire my new suit.
- Star Map Holos lie, should be a holo of the galaxy not the solar system.
- Star Map Holos no longer work.
- Various quarters use a caldari tank wireframe for the vehicle.
- Various quarter's holos don't match color theme of the race.
- War Room interior floor still has highly reflective metal from one angle and extremely dull material in another angle.
- War Room lights by the ramp are still tailored for previous stairs previously there.
- War Room has moving shadows near the tram area.
- War Room's star map holo is entirely out of place and does not look built into the environment proper.
- Keyboards in the war room are not full sized for people and have no function.
- War Room strategic holo does not reflect terrain of the map being loaded.
- War Room Window facing the planet pulls up no holographic information about the planet.
- Can't sit down.
- Can't use bed to log out

Graphics
- Missing hands animation miffs me at times.
- Shotgun Melee suddenly loses its arm shield when using the same elbow to smash a skull in
- Animations of other characters jitters with recoil based weapons when players move and shoot at the same time, this sometimes makes players look like they're shooting the floor. Happens most often on uneven terrain and close range.
- Running with a heavy weapon looks funny and may need a separate run animation for the hunkering over weapons.
- If attempting to perform an action that continues though end of the match the camera still behaves to complete the action.
- Bleeding out persists though end of the match.
- Reloading persists though the end of the match.
- Noises still persists though the end of the match.
- Animation is not fully synced with other players actions at times.
- HMG doesn't have tracer rounds 1/5 ratio may make it look cool.
- Maps on night mode still have an extraordinarily annoying sun still out.
- Railgun Sniper Rifles and Railguns overall do not have any cool animations with its bullet trail. Something from the movie eraser would do.
- Grenade tactical overlay icon does not need to show up unless detected at close proximity
- Grenade icons need to match their types one new icon for AV and Flux Grenades would be needed.
- Night Time maps have an annoying glaring sun in the sky still.
- Why is it always cloudy?
- There is no first time setup to include brightness setting.
- Brightness setting is not obvious default is way to high set to 70.
Physics
- Various Railing and walls when hugged causes the soldier to bobble up and down.
- Rarely, when the above mentioned bobble is happening a player can superman jump greater distances than normal.
- Rarely will grenades fall though buildings, structures, and other objects and though the floor.
- In very rare cases a fired missile from a turret or mass driver would 'wrap' around a hand rail and alter course.
- Various objects collision modules do not match art assets resulting in badly thrown grenades, apparent invisible walls when trying to shoot in between and various other annoyances.
- Null cannon interiors act like bouncy castles. Keeping bullets out and turning into a mess of things on the inside.
- Player bodies do not properly animate when exploded or thrown.
- Dropships strangely lose most of their mass when struck by weapons.
- Players can get stuck in many places still have no way out. Should be some way to charge up the inertia dampener to try to shove the player out if remaining stationary too long.
- LAVs and HAVs do not remain intact while flipped over, while drop ships can. Consistency towards the former please.
- Vehicles that flip over and remain stationary cannot be flipped over.
- Vehicle husks do not persist long enough to be obstacles, bullet cover and hazards. Would be more immerse cost effective than dead infantry.
- Vehicle Collision damage is hill curve instead of pure uphill. IE there is a semi fater speed which causes less damage and snail pace.
Sound
- Dropship klaxon persist after destruction.
- Friendly LAVs can be heard much further way than the silent and deadly hostile LAVs.('currently' fixed with rollback)
- Full auto weapons continue to produce sound after their operators are killed.
- Full auto weapon noises generated by downed player that persist though death are extremely loud.
- RDV exit noise is too similar to the entry noise.
- Sniper Railgun sound may sound a bit cooler if the high end of the 'bark' was delayed based on distance of hit object.
- Mass Driver doesn't have the hollow bang tube sound or the high brass sound that most typical grenade launchers have when hammering the charge. The 'thoump' can remain for the shell exiting.
- Missiles and Rockets still don't sound like such missing the roar of the engines igniting, needs to sound more like the swarm launcher. They also do not sound like a missile tube getting gassed out either nor does the animation match that.
- More battle music please.
- Separate victory and defeated musics.
- Some tunes for hanging out in the mercenary quarters, air conditioner is getting a bit maddening.
- Some noises ignore the sound bar setting.
- Climbing ladders sound like walking still instead of having a new noise set.
- At apparent notice there only seems to be two walked on materials, dirt and metal, needs to expand to sand, soft dirt, hard dirt, concrete, metal and more.
- War room has several spots where noises and announcements are louder and other places mere feet away where its quieter walking between these zones adjusts them on the fly.
- Plasma Shotgun missing hit effect noise, off tone shooting noise for plasma weapon (sounds like a spring loaded cannon instead (pending fix, currently rolled back))
- An idea to use the old noises for militia only level items since most of them sounded weaker.
- HMG has underwhelming hit effect on object noise.
- Plasma Rifle has underwhelming hit and firing effect noise, closer but not there yet.
- Sniper Rifle has underwhelming travel effect noise and non shooter noise is still not that scary.
- Sometimes Athena lags on her announcements during combat.

Infantry Combat
- Melee is still clunky but at least more reliable than previous builds.
- Transitioning between reloading and doing something else is still not clearly matching animations.
- Rename Assault Rifles to Plasma Rifles to avoid being over associated with the suit and match lore better.
- Some Cross-hairs can benefit from more active/reactive sights.
- Supply depot does not accurately state when its shut down or its current charged level.
- Inertia Dampeners no longer seem to stop infantry from getting flung out of a drop ship in the same direction and speed they jumped out of one at.
Weapons
- Militia Scrambler Pistol displays 15 segments in the ammo circle but only fires 7 times. Most weapons match their segment and shot counts.
- Parity between forge gun ready status and the charge ring do not match, a possible secondary indicator when its ready to fire would work.
- Swarm Launchers if accidentally fired into a nearby wall or mountain, the missiles does not detonate nor disarm proper as they just stay there and continue to burn until they fun out of fuel. They should at least detonate.
- Reportedly Swarm Launches can go though some towers, this may be a lag/client discrepancy error.
- The breech rifle seems to vibrate more than its firing rate suggests (this was not glaringly obvious until muted)
- Reloading animation is not matching actual reload state, increasing reload skill speed incurrs this further.
Equipment
- Nano-hives have no ammo bars on how much supplies it has left.
- Triage Units need to be marked on the friendly mini-map when they pull out their injectors to alert downed players a reviver is on the way.
- Downed people should not have an injector symbol unless calling out for one
- Downed people calling out for a revive should have an indicator blinking on reminding of urgency
- People carrying nano hives need to have indicators of other people low or out of ammo similar to how nanite injectors have special icons for people out of hp.
- Nanohives and Drop Uplinks self destruct if on uneven terrain.
- Nanohives self destruct if deployed upside down.
- Higher meta leveled equip rewarded use is lower.
- No rewards for destroying enemy equipment.
- Inability to hack enemy equipment, wouldn't mind if it required code breakers to do so.
- Nano-Injectors needs to bring up 'target' sights on where to stab, this would relive some 'find the body' games medics play.
- Nano-Injectors have infinite uses making revives a possible reckless profession instead of careful consideration.
- All deploy-able support equipment has horrendous viewing ranges, at times friendly equipment is harder to find than hostile equipment.
- Sometimes if a deployed is thrown into an object, it falls though the map.
- Sometimes a swarm launch can travel though a building, particularly noted, towers, unsure if this is lag related.

Vehicle Combat
- Many vehicles have spare button and it would not hurt if vehicles get a spare 'quick' shortcut button for whatever module they assign to it to reduce clumsiness.
- To the dismay of many, vehicles cannot be locked
- RDVs have intelligence of a lark vs windex'ed widows.
- There is no place to park or return vehicles back to the pool when thier use is done and over, this would be useful in a prolonged battle.
LAVs
- LAV turrets are not gyro stabilized making it difficult to use the gun while moving, it should turn on its own axis separate from the vehicle's axis within hard restraints tied into the gun mount itself.
- LAVs Honestly drives far too fast to be controllable safely.
HAVs
- Top Turret of the HAV is off center shooting, the variation caused by main turret dis-positioning
- Seems unable to turn while stationary, this is more of a controller issue it seems though.
- Reportedly Tank turrets are offset/ off-center from own body as well skewing shots off dead center reticule.
Drop ship
- Turrets on drops ships are able to shoot the parent craft causing it to skew flight.
- Drop ship collision damage is beyond unreasonable at times, the sweet speed of damage tolerance is much higher than slow speeds.
Turrets
- Rail guns and Blasters do not have an expressive 'overheat' purge animation to help indicate to others that the tank's weapon is down for a short bit.
- Missile turret shot prematurely ends animation but still continues to travel invisibly hitting the target.
- Rail gun shots are mostly invisible and not threatening enough visually.
- Blaster Shots are also invisible it doesn't help aiming at all.
- Missiles need a 'magazine' and reload to open up a window of opportunity/vulnerability similar to how railgun and blasters have one
- Small Rail Turret, Both Missile Turrets are under utilized this build.
Interface
- Unable to use push to talk to quickly swap voice in channel from team to squad for example or select channel to squad.
- There is no indicator on who is speaking outside of viewing the voice channel.
- Cortex does not change displayed animation when hacking. Retains map information.
- Cortex map layout does not change with the actual terrain.
- There is no bringing up the cortex animation observable both first person and third party viewing, only when hacking.
- There is no options for name plates. As a objective focused person I would like to have icons only for infantry and health bars at least for vehicles. Names clutter up the battle space rather frequently making it much harder to aim. Possible center reticule be clear of all non-gun UI when ADS.
- Mass drivers need an active response angle readout (like a jet fighter altitude's reference indicator)
- PSN Buy Aurum options takes forever to load sometimes.
- Aurum items do not have a different background on the market viewing to signify additional difference (the orange letter price isn't enough of a difference, maybe some shiny graphics or off color.)
- Aim-assist more frequently turns into auto-aim when turned off.
- Aim-assist is very inconsistent or counter productive.
Command
- Pulling up map to create commands is counter intuitive and semi bad flow, improvements can be made.
- No quick indication you are squad leader in public matches.
- There is no indicator of how to quick access squad leader orders when bringing up onboard equipment.
- Map zoom in and out is diagonal, not straight up and down. Angle of diagonal is based on off center position.
- Maps are rectangular and not squarish.
- There is no visual call down warning of buildings being dropped at your location akin to the one orbital strikes have.
Control
- Simplifying controller based command issue to 'objective' would help immensely provided players have common sense, in initial placement of an order. Refinement can be added by re clicking it then selecting the specific order. Ie placing objective command on a capture able building auto-issues capture. On enemies auto-issues attack.
- Option to turn off help windows info windows, these are annoyingly large for vehicles.
- Control modes needs to be separated further between each mode such as a page for each one.
- Control Sticks needs to be separated between Stick one and two. Most helpful for specific things such as flight and driving.
- Objectives do not feel urgent to complete, obtain, and control. Might be possible to do with damaged states of MCCs.
- Squad creation is contorted and hard to perform, it should not require member on friend/watch list. (Fix Inbound)
- Buttons annoyingly swap when a spawn point becomes available.
- Buttons are displayed on the screen backwards from their controllers
- For respawning on map one button should be sufficient instead just being able to deselect a spawn point would default to a random generated in game modes that doesn't require a spawn point.
- While downed the buttons for call help and re-spawn also are swapped between map screen and dying screen.
- No bleed-out timer while downed.

This isnt a bug list either, rather a comphrensive list of just minor annoyances in the game.
If I where to make a thread explaining all of the bullets I will be putting up here. I would have easily started 4000+ threads in the past and got banned for spamming. |

I have had a Drop Uplink activate when upside down. In that case it burrowed completely under the map, but still functioned to spawn mercs on the correct side of the map. |

hmm I do know nano-hives blow up if thrown upside down on flat terrain. So going to split the bullet up then. |

Also Eve Online has been good about listening to these threads, Dust 514 has so far been just as good. |

This deserves a whole thread on it's own but the short version is
- The mechanics of Equipment are such that potential War Point awards go down as the quality of the equipment used goes up
This is nonsensical, out of line with the other gear lines in D514 and needs a redress. (Notes: Remote explosives and Drop Uplinks are both balanced properly, the broken mechanics are tied to Nano Injector/Hives and Repair Tools).

Equipment -
glitches into containers etc. provides no ticks while glitched inside things. Friendly equipment behaves exactly like enemy equipment (which maybe WAI) in randomly disappearing from view/radar.

Sensitivity still not high enough Useability of M/K in Neocom is getting worse. Last iteration of keybindings introduced bizarre things like using arrow keys which most M/K will not have a hand near ever. Still not useable M/K on the map for spawns or OB etc.

This is a really small thing, but I wouldn't mind if the "Request Help" and "Respawn" buttons on the death screen were switched from right to left. They display the square and circle buttons opposite to what they are on the controller and I'll often feel the urge to hit the wrong button when requesting help.
I got better about it after a week or so, obviously, but it's just one of those minor annoyances. |

Few more bullets added, Ill get more shoved in when time allows but its looking like Ill be a post short. also I need to categorize some of the bullets and shift them more into the categories they belong based on their most influential section |

Well folks broke 101 bullets, now to get back to my old record 335 bullets.

Lets see time to update again.
- Dropship klaxon persist after destruction.
- Missing hands animation miffs me at times.
- Various Railing and walls when hugged causes the soldier to bobble up and down.
- Rarely when mentioned above bobble is happening a player can superman jump great distances.
- LAVs and HAVs do not remain intact while flipped over, while dropships can. Consistency towards the former please.
- Vehicle husks do not persist long enough. IMO they should remain much longer becoming obstacles and cover and it is far more immerse setting than infantry bodies.
- There is no clear button to skip any movie.
- Tutorial video should not be skip-able when viewed the first time.
- Every page should have a help page and a easy consistent button for it all.
- Buttons placed side by side on tool tips need to correspond with the controller better.
- Swapped buttons because of a drop uplink is available or not is overtly very annoying.
- Why is it always cloudy?
- There is no call down warning for dropped buildings akin to the orbital strike one.
More when I sit down and remember will filter these into the game. luckily there have been bullets fired so far
- Scout suits have no Neo early access variant
- Logistic suits have no Neo early access variant

I guess you'l have to make 151 bullet boxes (topics).
I would add :
Coorporation: - small pop-up invite for players to join squad even when already in a game. I having to call a friend I know being in the game already when the rest of our squad wait for him to leave.

Feel free to make your own topics on any of the bullets! Especially if you have far more details than I do.

When looking down a laser rifles sights you cannot see the target information (shield/armour hp etc) due to the colouring.
A similar thing can happen on some maps (in game and on the map screen) depending on the colour of the ground. |

Woot ran out of text space in the first post going to shuffle things around and add more bullets such as
- It is possible to add aircraft only modules to ground vehicles and not receive an error.
- There is no option to turn off, nameplates, or health bar plates on the field. Some of this clutter can make it difficult to shoot thicker formations.
- Autoaim or automiss (aim assist) is still working inconsistently.
- Dropships explode far too easily as the wrong speeds. 1-5 mph drops should not blow up drop-ships, damage maybe but blowing though the entire shock mounts and taking out the engines?
- Turret AI is inconsistent, it is hard to get it to respond to attacks, its sweeps are unpredictable, Rail-gun Aim is too precise.
