If I understand correctly from your other thread, this is not a bug at all. You bought a passive booster for 2 characters on the same account, despite it being clearly stated that passive SP is only accrued on one character at a time (short of buying an alt a passive booster, ofc).
Raging about nothing will not fix this. As the passive booster is already applied to the alt, I would not expect you to get any form of refund, as you *are* getting the benefits of it, but hey that is not my call to make. Maybe CCP will give you your Aurum back and remove the SP on the character than you gained because of it, I really don't know. Not something I would expect to happen, but again not my call to make.
This is just a suggestion, I am not trying to be a smartass or condescending at all, but perhaps reading a little bit would not go astray? It was made pretty obvious to me when making my first alt (ie second character) that passive was only applied to one. Even if you missed the dialogue, I would have thought the xxx.xxx SP + Passive SP on the particular character would have been pretty obvious.
At any rate, please stop crying bug about this. We don't need random crap clogging up the real bug reports here, honestly. |

My apologies then bud, I had things backwards. In that case, aye definitely a bug. Hit up a petition ASAP. Best way to go about things. They may either do an Aurum Refund, or give you some extra SP (probably easier from their side, and they could quite easily work out how much you are missing) but, well if it was me I'd be happy with either haha, same effect really all round.
Buzz, ya that is definitely a known bug, suffered from it mself after the TQ Migration, but due to my own misunderstanding I mistakenly thought this was a different situation.
For anyone else wondering if they may or may not be suffering from this bug, fire up a stopwatch, Online Stopwatch If you don't have one available, or most smartphones/tablets can get a stopwatch app free. Open up your skill page, and time the skillpoint ticks. Without passive booster it should be around 3.6 seconds per tick, with passive booster about 2.4 (make sure to test a couple times, to be sure). Anything significantly longer than this, and you would be suffering from the bug, most likely.
The easiest way, at this point in time, to fix the bug (from that point on) is to create an alt character on the same account, select it, and then select "Activate Passive SP" for that character. Then re-select your main, and do the same. This will get passive SP ticking properly on the Character. |
