interesting ideas....
Tutorials - meh kinda bt theyre not ever that engaging. there needs to be a more alternative solution to this... as for not skipping tutorials is bad and would make people hate the game. Prefer a skip function with maybe a stats watcher to see if u drop below a k/d ratio it prompts after the last game ends that maybe u should revisit the tutorials.
SP cap - good call and soft sp cap is best of both worlds.
Varied contract types - yes as variety is the spice of life.. and an MMO needs life to survive!
Prone - yes and no on this... can understand the advantages and gameplay options bt also slows gameplay down.
Joining allied forces games- yes, simply yes.
Friendly fire - everything should be included in friendly fire, splash damage especially. simple as that.
Smooth movement - in terms of vaulting over ledges etc.. yes plz. get those animators at it CCP!
HMG vs Vehicles - feels like confusion between heavy dropsuits and HMG here. HMG is the pinnacle of CR anti-personnel weapons, NOT anti vehicle weaponry. Leave that to forge guns etc...
laser rifles - agreed... lower damage and lower reload time as a counterweight to it maybe.
Nanite injectors - seems more an issue of poor coding/ bad design of ragdoll physics etc than anything.
Marking targets - yes plz
Nova Knives - should be a 1 strike kill from behind special case situation. other than that, slightly more damage yes.
Squd Leader = objective - thats a tad wierd and more SP just to stick together would be difficult to code and forces gameplay to non sandboxy forms. better gameplay shouldnt be driven by mechanics in such an obvious carrot-stick way.
Hit markers - colour variations yes.
spawns - needs to be overhauled definitely. although would detract away from drop uplinks. would prefer respawning in a protected zone @ one of the captured objectives or captured clone structures, or for drop uplinks literally dropping into battle from high atmosphere akin to dropping from the MCC.
Mass Driver - just needs to be included into Friendly fire and all will be fine.
Missiles - prefer lock on to moar splash damage tbh. especialy with nades and mass drives on the scene.
Proxy chat - polarised strong views on this are apparent. simply, itd make life easier. and against all the lore nerds here saying ive got an airtight helmet on, ur suit knows where all teammates are and transponder code sharing can be done adhoc with who's around @ a determined proximity. also opens up high-cost module ideas to hack into enemy comms nearby.
Destroying equip - why SP for destroying stuff? i dont get sp for throwing a bottle at a wall! like the idea of hacking drop uplinks and nanohives etc... thatd be cool and worthy of SP.
who's talking indicator - not a mic pic bt a speaker pic would be better. bt like idea
Hardcore - maybe in the more advanced areas of the game FW for example. ISK earned by loosing team should only cover bare minimum militia gear used or similar. better spawn mechanics would curtail some spawn camping.
VR trainers - this is a better idea to help new players then piecemeal tutorials by integrating this with tutorials or similar.
Boarding ships - nope, silly idea that makes little sense beyond a 10yo kids idea of sci-fi combat.
Net Isk Efficiency - understandable from a corp or FW standpoint. not in mixed multi-corp/alliance matches.
Compare assets - ingame maybe... most likely be part of ps vita app.
Assists - tbh i couldnt care less, i know i helped a kill when i get +25SP. only really helps show offs/anal retentives. where do we stop at it too? HAV assist count? dropship assist count? Eve Online Ship kill assist count?
Larger game - gonna happen, patience padawan!
Free Vehicles - only way to learn to fly a dropship is to fly it constantly currently. if/when VR training modes come about then can retract free vehicles, till then only way to learn is to put the hours in + that can be massively expensive in Dropships for example.
lock vehicles - yes, if james bond can have a gun that only fires for him we should have vehicles we called in to only allow us to drive (a few vehicles exempt - LAV's for example) You want to drive it, u hack it. like with enemy vehicles.
chat - just needs added timestamp and sorted.
In Match Icon - will probably be resolved once better location aware features come in. bt on player created chat, away status should be toggle-able or set auto-away status in battle in game options.
health compensation - should be changed that HP = WP in some ratio so no penalising use of higher grade injectors etc... But definitely NOT more WP for using higher grade equipment. provides unfair bonuses to higher skilled mercs as creates accelerating disparity.
Tactical room - lots of ideas for more features including toggle 'looking for squad' blink on player boards to advertise active search for willing mercs wanting squad co-operation. tactical map should show low polygon wireframe map that we're bout to play for sure.
Group active modules - yes plz. should be something set up in fittings, not on field.
Default voicechat on - yes, if u have issues with a noob with an always on & noisy mic, just mute him.
SP rollback - worded badly bt consider it like pouring champagne into a tower of glasses (champagne being the sp, glasses being SP cap per day.) when u hit the cap for the day. extra sp u earn goes into next days cap until full. and so on. With SP cut off at end of week. IE u cant hard grind 1 months capped SP in just under 1 week, all extra SP earned will be lossed after the week ends. SP rollover period (which is what it should be, NOT rollback - wtf??) should start just before the weekend.
LAV Colision - LAV roadkill shouldnt be 1 hit kills, should be fixed HP on impact not over full dropsuit HP and should have a speed loss on impact in LAV + speed increase on hit mercs + roll damage.
