After the beta ends will our skills be reset. I'm not asking about SP because I was already told know but will their be a sorta respect of the skills we trained in. I'm asking because right now Im kinda ll over the place trying to find the things I liked and beta test everything although I have found the play style I really like and would now like to put all my SP into it. So nayone know if they will respect our skills or should I just start a new character I guess? |

There are no plans for re-specing your character. So what most of us do is use an alt to try different things and then put it on your main.
Just a tip if you haven't set up an alt tied to a different email you should, so that you can get passive SP on that character also. |

No respec has been mentioned, and it goes against them wanting your choices to matter, so I wouldn't hope for one. There's no reason to start a new character, since there's no SP limit, so you either build off the character you have and have what you want plus some random stuff, or start a new character and have what you want plus nothing. Unless you really need that first couple hundred thousand unallocated SP a new character starts with, and you can't utilize anything you've put SP into on your current character. |

I agree there should not be a respect in the full game. I am just curious about at launch if they will do it to everyone considering they will prolly be messing with the skills anyway I would think.

They wouldn't have declared an end to all resets if their intent was to start messing with skills in any significant way. |

They've specifically said that the most recent reset was the final one, and we're not being reset on release.
In that sense, open beta is "sort of" the game's release already, because everything that happens now is permanent.
But I don't see any good reason to wipe the character and restart. It's not like there's something preventing you from skilling into what you want now. If you've made any progress - any at all - towards the role(s) you intend to play, creating a new character will delete all of that progress and start you from scratch. You're probably better off continuing with the existing character and just not pouring good SP after the bad. As people have suggested, skill an alt up in the things you're not sure about yet, then consider whether or not to go for the same skills on your main. |

The lack of or rather the way information are presented to newer players will be the games downfall (if they keep this up the way it is). You really expecting too much from the average console player CCP. |

It will help to marginalize Dust, but it won't be its downfall anymore than EVE having a horrible new player experience was its downfall. EVE has only ever been a niche game, in part because it was brutal for people to get into, especially if they didn't have friends to help them along, but in spite of its lack of user friendly consideration, EVE has a very loyal player base. Dust won't be any different. |

Agree and understood. Dust 514 however is F2P and they are certainly aiming for a higher, much higher player base = more $$$ due to transactions/ aurum. Wouldn't it be fatal seeing them doing the same mistake twice, ignoring newbies and making the game hardly accessible? |
