Inaccuracy in the open beta trailer or we have a Caldari Heavy suit?

I like it especialy the part with drones in the beggining(CCP give that drones to us pls). Ok let see it again - http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Xnt1tTlnqfY#! Now watch 0:45. There is guy with Forge gun, but he wear something that I define as caldari assault dropsuit. But as we know only heavy dropsuit have heavy slot and can use Heavy guns, which is Forge gun. So CCP, this is just an Inaccuracy, or a new Caldari Heavy dropsuit?

And I will immediately swap to gallente DPS tank Serpentis faction dropsuits will require both gallente dropsuit and minmatar dropsuit. They will be awesome. New players will scream OP. Many quotes of HTFU will be made. and the expensive fits will be destroyed with extreme prejudice.

Well since that trailer looks nothing like game play and at least 95% of that **** isn't in the game I'd say your question is.....irrelevant?

Question I've always wondered about racial varients: are they restricted to the race you choose during character creation or can they be used regardless?

If they're not laughing at us over a beer and guessing who can cook up the best tinfoil hat theory I'll eat my 500,000 rounds of artillery orbital strike ammunition.

That, plus the trailer showing a new configuration paradign for dropsuits (the assault suit shown had an H, M, and L weapon slot and no grenade slot) suggests that heavy weapons will no longer be exclusively a heavy dropsuit speciality. Personally, I don't see any problem with such a change. Why should HMGs or forge guns be exclusive to heavy suits? Those suits are powerful even if they're armed with lasers or ARs. So, to me, it seems fairly clear that it isn't a mistake, but rather a preview of the next build.

With soldiers wearing armour from every race, that wouldn't be the case. Using the same suit is the only way with the currently-implemented models to imply a unified front.

(though some things clearly make more SENSE than others. nobody is armor tanking their drake... but they COULD if they wanted to.)

CCP guy said scouts will be able to use heavy weapons, recent trailer shows assaults using heavy weapons. Seems pretty likely that heavy weapons are going to become usable by any dropsuit at this point.

Next time you post a screenshot, I will not copy it at all. And yeah, this has already been discussed heavily. Most likely we will be more flexible with weapons, such as being able to put heavy weapons on assault suits.

Scouts need to be able to fly with hmg kick also.
