Hello everyone,
I want to propose the creation of a GÇ£Buddy or RewardsGÇ¥ program for Dust 514, which it could be similar to that of the Buddy program that EVE players already have and we are very familiar with. I think, it would greatly benefit the growth of the Dust 514 gaming community now that itGÇÖs about to hit Open Beta (ThatGÇÖs Today, Congrats Everybody).
The sign up confirmation method could be similar to that of EVEGÇÖs buddy program, with its web link, but it would also be great to get an invitation method for the PS3 console so that we can invite our current PS3 Friends.
For the Dust 514 Buddy or Rewards program I think it would be great to get any of the next benefits or a combination of them:
GÇóAurum, being the best choice in my opinion for a reward.
GÇóIn-game Items, Like Buddy program related Weapons, Dropsuits, Vehicles, etc.
GÇóIsks, a set amount for each confirmed sing up.
GÇóExperience, a set amount for each confirmed sing up.
I am sure that CCP would appreciate the Word of Mouth, sign ups that current Dust 514 players can bring into the game and I know that we would greatly appreciate getting some rewards for doing so.

Why dust would need a buddy program? it's free to download and play. Your idea can be abused easily too, just create a second(third fourth...) PSN account (it's free, you only need a new mail), invite yourself and get free reward. |

you make a good point. CCP can you tell if the same ps3 claimed the reward or if the new acct has no activity? |

Nice idea, but it'll never work.
The reason that the EVE system works is because the reward is of equal monetary value to the cost of activating the buddy account, and is only given once the buddy account is activated.
Since Dust accounts are free to create and activate any reward at all will be open to abuse, since all you would need to do is farm endless PSN accounts. |

Just reward people when the buddy buys aurum and give the inviting player a percentage of the aurum that the new player bought say 10%. |
