Anyone else having their ps3 freeze up while in a match but still on squad coms? This has happened 6 times to me tonight. I am not even able to hit PS button and quit I have to shut off console with power button. I tried deleting my data files and even the dust game and downloading it all over again and still the same. I am never going to hit my daily cap at this rate. Just wondering if its just me or others too. |

Haven't had one in a long time from Dust. Other games yes, but not dust. Try deleting and redownloading. |

How many chat channels did you have open? Rumors were circulating that the hard freeze may be cause by having too many chat channels opened at once.
I never tried it to confirm it, so don't quote me on that. Other than that, I have not experienced a hard freeze or even a soft freeze for that matter in a long, long, long, long, long, long ,long long long lon lon lon lon lo lo lo lo lo lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lolololololol time. |

I've had 3 hard freezes in this last build. Also, this build has been very choppy (framerate) for me. Also, still having the neocom glitch popping up in the middle of a match, atleast once in EVERY match for me. Did I mention that I've had the reload glitch occur several times this build, as well as the inability to hack glitch....

Like I said in my original post I tried deleting and re-downloadin. I even went into the ps3 maintenance menu and rebuilt the database and still getting hard freezes. Never had them very often before now. |

whoa, now im scared a little. this happened to me today (21st)
I couldnt enter battles w my squad, we tried dropping out and re entering, no luck. swapped squad leaders, no luck. problem seemed to be me, so i logged, came back in, same problem. couldnt restock items in dropsuit fitting window. Logged. different character, couldnt even type in corp chat.
So i deleted the game file. then i noticed how small the original beta download file was compared to the current build that i deleted, looked at the clock, and figured f- it- i'll wait till tomorrow to hopefully download a new full build?
a month ago, i crashed and got an error message that said my game file was corrupted and i needed to delete and re download, but after logging and playing again, everything seemed fine..... ive been on pins and needles ever since. |

Tech bug forum stuff.
I have had a dozen, last night every single match went black screen, returned to merc quarters which froze, requiring reboot of ps3.
merc quarters freeze on me often lately, and I've let it stay frozen for minutes to confirm ps3 needs a reboot. |

I cannot even finish a game as it is. Had at least 10 hard freezes the last 12 hours. I'll go ahead and delete some of the channels I'm in and post results.
EDIT: Confirmed. I left some channels and the game does not freeze anymore. |

I've had nothing but issues today, but ONLY while I'm in a squad. Was able to join two matches and complete them today on my own, but the second I joined a squad with friends it starts crashing left and right. The first I would classify as a soft lockup. It didn't completely crash, just locked up. Every crash since then has been a complete crash that kicks me out to the ps3 menu.
my issue can't be a result of chat channels as I don't have any custom chat channels open. I am however in an eve based corporation.
There doesn't seem to be a solid pattern to my crashes either. Some are in battle, some are in the transition from my personal quarters to the pregame lobby, some have been right as a battle ends. The most recent crash was right as I loaded from quarters to lobby and it almost managed to get me fully loaded in. I sat in the lobby seeing how far it would go. It loaded me into the battle for a good thirty seconds before completely crashing on me. I heard the "capture null cannons" and "confirma deployment location" prompts. |

I had a very bad week, full of freezes and crashes, about a week and a half ago. A thread somewhere suggests power cycling your router. It worked like a charm for me. Now, if I get more than one hiccup during a session, I cycle my router. Let the people know if this helps at all, if it does, spread the word, it not I'm sorry... |

I had but one crash yesterday, which happened during an intense battle; I'm now convinced the extra chat channels are severely bugged. There are still other bugs that can make you crash, but none are so prevalent as the ones concerning extra chat channels. |

First time I've had a Hard Freeze in a long time, in the video I noted the LAV Pulse, not sure if that has anything to do with the cause ..oh and I dont have any extra chat channels open ( only default ).

Had the same issue twice last night. Both hard freezes. One in Skirmish, and one in Ambush. Had to cold boot PS3 both times. Probably played 5 matches last night, and 2 failures during those 5. Was having an epic match in Ambush too. Which does not happen often with my Logi on Ambush. |

I have had hard crashes many times on two separate ps3s. Seems to occur only when I'm squad leader. |

I had one of these hard freezes last night too. At least the power button reset the system and I didm;t have to unplug it. |

i lost 30 days to hard freeze , never reinstald dust. u do not have to. I droped my corp, deleated contacts & chat windows. NO more freeze ever. ccp will say nothing. |
