I don't understand how a mass driver is way more effective at killing infantry. CCP you really need to get "balancing" a fps down. That is all. |

Just make a MD turret and problem solved.
Small turret only, and make them blow up mid air so dropships cant spam them unless they get to close to the ground. |

Mass drivers aren't shot from dropships.. not sure what u meant by that |

He's saying make a grenade launcher turret and have a limited range on them so they can't be spammed from the ceiling. |

Tank has Infinity ammo (unrealistic) MD has limited ammo per magazine and on player. Tank has 4000 EHP vs infantry 400 EHP Tank has 3 guns vs MD has 6-8 shots and has to reload.
MD players throws Flux grenade into group of players, all shields are gone and fires 1-2 MD shots into group to get kills.
Tank rolls up on group of players and has 3 guys firing at infantry to get kills..
gee which one of these is OP..

So true Ted. I hope you guys actually get something done to missile turrets. It is really sad the stage they are in now. But in all honesty all small turrets need a little tweak to make them a little bit more effective but not to overpowering because you got two on a tank. So they have to remember that what ever they do to it will be two fold on a tank.

Do agree with Ted, Missile turrets need a small boost. I see a missile tank and I laugh at them for having missiles on.

100% agree, Missile tank needs to be buffed. Radius and damage by at least 10 to 15% to both.
Never disagreed with you Ted, just not sure why an infantry weapon is being compared to a tank weapon. :) |

MD's are fine yes i use one but still they are fine, it is missles that need a slight buff they took a bit too much of a hit, but the other thing is placing MD shots is easier than shooting missles on a moving vehicle. Also if you timed a flux nade from a teammate then fired those missles id guarantee they would do better(granted their radius is half that of MD so perhaps instead of a damage buff a radius buff is the right answer). |

It's an "overreaction" nerf. Back in the E3 build, when we still played "Old Skirmish" on Plateaus (you newbies call it Gribalkir South Ward), dropships would fly on top of the massive towers, and pelt missiles upon your battle from sniper-range. They also had a large kill-radius to boot.
Although this was too much, so was the nerf. Missiles now disappear over a relatively short distance, and even a direct hit won't kill off your opponent. Add this to the vehicle-turret inheritance, a problem from day one, and you're better off with the railgun Small Turrets. |
