Had i only seen it once or strictly at a greater distance i could chalk it up to imagination, but having seen this at medium range and while trained with my sights through a scoped tactical assault rifle, id say when u come across players who have this ability ull eat ur words... till then keep an eye open, there are players who have been cloaked, and i have no idea how they are doing so, and ur patronizing remark does little to explain what i have already experienced first hand. But when u also come across players who are cloaked, you might reconsider ur remark... or chalk it up to ur own delusions.
I am far more convinced that it is problem in your hardware(or your mind) rather than believing that CCP has implemented a module that doesn't exist in the market, has never been mentioned in any of the patch notes and only has been sighted by a single person so far.
As for people popping up on your radar, as others have said invest some points into sensor modules and profile dampening, along with dropsuit command. With the passive bonuses and the highest level dampeners you would be virtually invisible in radar. |

Absolute- Nova wrote: This is NOT your imagination or a glitch. Some players ARE invisible/cloaked. I, too, have witnessed this often. An enemy(these players are never on my team) will "predator" into the scene using similar graphics as the Shield mods on vehicles. This effect is different from the spawn-in animation or the death-animation. Also, the figures were MOVING with sniper rifles already aimed while becoming uncloaked/un-invisible; I suspect they can't fire their weapon while cloaked.
I suspect that these invisible players with their cool tech are happy with their advantage. As the beta nears completion we'll all get our chance to go Predator in stealth - oh yes. And then...HEAD SHOT!
Seriously? You still try to shove this bullshit down our throats, even if it's highly unlikely to even be possible in the game as of yet.
Look, I already argued that CCP doesn't add items into Dust 514 without any kind of notification, can't be found in the market at all and the only 'proof' of their existence are a few shady eye-witness reports. If we are going to study this with the scientific method and actually prove these stealth modules' existence, eye-witness reports are the worst kind of proof you could ever throw at us. We need real, concrete proof.
So, actually give me some proof other than: 'It is real mang, I saw it in game and thus it must be real!' |
