UM... Nope... cuz i know for a fact ive seen enemies cloaked in the game. Now note, i did say enemies... so ive seen this on enough occasion to have a fair point to say there are players who ive encountered who are cloaked... Once spotted and fired upon they loose their camo and the target arrow pops up on them, also if they are cloaked and you have a cross-hair over them for a sec or so, an enemy indicator arrow shows up... so ive been able to counter snipe one guy, ive killed one by happenstance, ive fired at 3 who were trying to slink into the shadows, one who fought back and gave himself away, and ive lost sight of one entirely as he made a fast escape and i suppose stood still.
It leaves me with the sense this may be like the Dev only weapons that Dice implements, or at least this may be the case for now. All in all I too have been trying to get this adaptive camo for my character... I even went so far as to start another character just to upgrade my drop suit to the point where i might be able to use the suit specific attributes, and... i have no idea how that works... Also... ive noticed the some players have been calling in mortar fire onto the battlefield... this also seems like it would be a suit specific trait... also i havent the foggiest how that action is preformed...
All that being said... I want to know whats up with these suit specific traits, and i want to know why some people have been using them while others arent given the privlage...??? |

I never said i had any experience with the suit specific traits, i do know however that players have been cloaked while in fire fights. Had i only seen it once or strictly at a greater distance i could chalk it up to imagination, but having seen this at medium range and while trained with my sights through a scoped tactical assault rifle, id say when u come across players who have this ability ull eat ur words... till then keep an eye open, there are players who have been cloaked, and i have no idea how they are doing so, and ur patronizing remark does little to explain what i have already experienced first hand. But when u also come across players who are cloaked, you might reconsider ur remark... or chalk it up to ur own delusions. |

So, having not checked back with this thread in a few days, and not being able to play for a while cuz i had log in issues, im just now reading some of the comments. So, as for materializing in... I noticed that player names do tend to pop up as they materialize but thats not what i was seeing with the players i was talking about.
As for there being a problem with devs using the stealth camo while this is in beta, its not a problem i just want to play with that stuff too ya know...
For those of u who have seen players with it too, glad there are others out there, since i know im not taking crazy pills.
For the person who said that my saying so is not proof and to offer up evidence I agree whole heartedly and would rather be an ass and show concrete evidence so people would be like... ah... So with that... i would if i had video capture of my game play. In fact, the other reason im posting again is because i saw another player in the stealth camo just b4 posting (again not static and spawing in but fireing and taking cover and the stealth acting similar to killzone when they move or are shot but rendering them invisible other than that i still see their name if i crosshair them), but my saying so is again nothing in the way of proof. I will however try to be more mindfull next time i do come across a player in the camo so i can take note of their player name and message them to ask how they got or turned on the suit abilities. Thought of that after the fact though, and since its not somthing i see offten in not sure when ill have my next chance, but all the same i will do my best to at least get a player name of someone with it, maybe even a screen shot of the in game email if i get a reply and an explanation.
So, now im on my quest to bring back some evidence. anyone willing to wire me cash to buy a video capture device LOL  |
