First off, what was the reason for removing this in the first place?
Since you can easily work around it by creating two other PSN accounts, what's the point in not having passive SP on all characters?
You can still only use one character at a time, so I simply don't see why we can't have passive SP on all characters. |

also - to log into the other characters, you have to quit out of the game ;) lol :) but I'm sure that will change.
IMHO this is an eve thing that doesn't really work in dust where you can create multiple characters without expense. |

I'd be interested in a statement regarding the rational behind this as well. |

I agree might as well make it convenient for us since it's free to make a new account anyway. |

Because the two other slots finally serve to nothing, if they can't get passive sp as the principal character can, it just force you to create/use another PSN account to get your passive sp and even play more rarely with your secondaries characters...
So, passive sp on all character is the best solution than force players to make another account just to get them on their secondaries characters. |

We buy Aurum passive boosters that we can't use and they run out with no effect. Not Good .We paying people should get what we are paying you in real money for even if is on all three slots. |

They should just let us passive sp all three of our toons, because I for one have made a few alt psn's that I will never be buying aur on. I have already bought multiple merc packs on my main and would rather spend the aur on multiple toons.
I want to know CCP's reasoning behind not letting us passive sp all of our toons.

Well, even though you cant have passive SP on all 3 slots, you're still free to share AUR on those. Also, when you buy a pack while NOT being logged on any account. (so through PSN out of dust 514), you can dispatch the items among your 3 characters.
WHen you create a new player on another account, you just get passive SP unless you decide to buy AUR on that account as well.
But i agree that, unlike EVE, the passive sp protection seems a litttle off when everyone can just go ahead and create 10 characters on 10 different account. |

This is the major problem, it force the player to create multiple accounts only to get the passive sp on their characters, so the two other slots per account finally serve to nothing, except to debug the passive booster bug... |

I think this would be a good idea.
If we could have passive boosters on all 3 toons it gives a reason to by more skill boosters.
More monies for CCP which will hopefully mean more investment on future development...
I'm all for it,

Effectively, it's the same with EVE. In order to log a new character the client has to be reset. Same with the passive SP being limited to one character per account too... and the having multiple accounts.

First of all, a "log off" button should be coming soonish (I couldn't find a post on this right now, but I'm pretty sure they were working on it), so you can pretty much throw all that comparison to EVE out of the window.
It's some bs anyway. This is Dust 514, not EVE. Accounts are free on the playstation, so there's no point not to have passive SP on all characters. |

Same with the passive SP being limited to one character per account too... and the having multiple accounts. Welcome to New Eden. Get used to it. Not quite the same in this context however because in EVE when you create alt accounts (as opposed to characters) you have to pay another subscription fee for them. On Dust they're free so it only adds extra hassle and actually reduces the likelihood of income. With all characters on one account people are more likely to impulse spend AUR on a passive booster or other kit for their atls when that AUR comes out of one pool which is already purchased. And thus more likely to spend more AUR in general, and buy additional AUR faster.
The present system introduces artificial barriers to use, play, and spending. None of which is actually helpful to the health of the game or CCPs profits from the game.

I know I have a couple of extra PSN's kickin around on the system waiting for a good use for em. I do agree we should just have passive on all 3 just to simplify things and reduce the amount of alt PSN's in game and increase profit in the ways listed by poplz above me |
