It would be better if they Nano injectors did not have unlimited uses or cooldown, Instead of the lowest level injector being able to res unlimited number of dropsuits, make it so the the different levels can raise different amounts of dropsuits or that they have a cool down period while the injector rebuilds its nanite supply.
also higher level injectors should give more SP as they heal more life and do more for the injected player.
So basically Cooldown type Militia 25-30s Reg 20-25s Adv 10-20s Proto 5-10s
or uses type 2-3 for militia 3-5 reg 4-6 advanced 6-10 proto
Or something like that I'm no balancing expert.
this chance will encourage people to want to skill up their nanos

This is a bad idea and would discourage medical logi builds. If there was a cooldown, I'd only have them equipped when playing with corp members, and only they would get a revive. That takes away from team play. As it is, there are plenty of people I don't revive due to there location and the enemy around them. Certain damage prevents reviving from being possible in the first place. Then there is the sp and isk I have to spend on them. I think limiting revives and/or a timer would break the continuity of this game, and since there are no sp resets, I myself would bench my logi suit for a heavy, and hunt you so much, you would qq about never getting revives. |

maybe there could be a cool down on reviving the same player
What I mean by this is,
Person A gets shot dead
Nanite revived by Teammate only to have Person A shot dead before having time to react, this can continue several time with Person A getting many deaths without a chance to react (unless then can get a circle press in before next revive) |

I agree with that somewhat, but think dead body camping would rise. I can see half the blue dots staring at dead bodies as the enemy takes all points on the map. |

I've had this happen. It's weird to think back on the days when nobody ever revived while desperately trying to get someone to stop because it's ruining your KDR.
This is a problem with the dimwitted Logi, though, not his tools. There is already a cooldown on the WP gain for revives, and the 20% armor the cheap stuff returns you with is a huge liability without anything to repair you.
I fail to see a problem. |

The reason logi's use the 20% one is because a revive is a revive. Better Logi equipment actually decreases the amount of WP you get by a severe margin. |

This has been beaten to death all over the forums but the general consensus is that revive rewards should be tiered thus making us want to use the higher tier gear. The other point that repairing someone with the higher level gear should net more rewards thus incentivising us to use the better gear because right now i can get more SP/WP/ISK by running only the MLT BPO's while everything else on my suit is advanced.
I would gladly strap on the 80% revive if it were worth it because as it stands the 30% and mlt repair tool get me more points (although i have a good number of points in armor repair so im repping faster than the usual) |

Also, if there is to be a cooldown, we had better see less syringes, more something like MAG's 'nano spray' crap. Adding range would be an acceptable tradeoff for a cooldown. |

I disagree with this. The point is to be able to keep reviving people. If you only get so many chances then you will see a lack of revives. Logi's will only revive squadmates. We won't be wasting the revives on random. There would be no point. Like previously stated, teamwork will be lost if this happens. |

I think your right there, but there has to be a way to stop new logi's reviving people, only to be shot dead and the logi revive again
rinse. repeat. |

Sure, give the revived person the option to get up say within 5 seconds, if they don't then they bleed out. |

No to the injector limits. All that needed is for no revival display prompt or ability to revive for your teammates unless the downed member presses square. At that point you can still suicide if you want.

Or simply let the revived Person accept or deny the revive but give the Logi the 60SP. |

That's a better option than the present. The reason I prefer my method is that there can be alot of revive prompts on my screen and at times over half these don't want a revive. At least if I only saw the ones that had pressed square then I'd know they made a conscious choice to call me.
There have been times I've been put down, was waiting for my bleed out to go to about 5 seconds before I pressed circle so I'd have a 3 second spawn in, but got revived when I didn't want to.Now, if I had an option to refuse the revive, then that would have me happy, but what about the logi that might have got himself into the middle of the firefight to get me up, to find I've given him the middle finger and refused their help. I play logi a fair bit and 60sp isn't going to soften the lost of a set of gear. If I run into the hot zone to pick someone up, it's with the aim of repairing them straight off as I'll then have back up. |
