No by all means lets keep the nadefest going, or lets keep lazers just they way they are. Everything has a hard counter for eveything sniff sniff leave my crutch alone whah. Sorry these things are unbalanced with regards to current gameplay and utility, numerous threads have been written with regards to the vaildity of these opinions with good reason and data.
Hard counters and adapt or die is all that can be answered in response because there isnt an intelligent counter response that can polish the turd that is those two things. |

Hard counters and adapt or die is all that can be answered in response because there isnt an intelligent counter response that can polish the turd that is those two things. here is your intelligent counter response you were looking for grenades --- dont get so close lasers --- dont get so far away or maybe try a laser against the grenadier... wow a weapon that performs its best outside the effective range of what you are pitting it against. balance achieved through using brains/tactics rather than programming. i want the weapons and dropsuits back pre-nerf. stuff is becoming so BALANCED its BORING. i can achieve my own balancing with tactics and teamwork or by using that OP weapon myself and it will be more fun than all weapons being equal
Answer to nades: Avoiding CQC is simply not an option, yes lets all play at a safe comfortable distance and never go after objectives, or clear out areas that simply dont have clear LOS so you have to fight CQC.
Answer to LR: yes by all means stay in nades/sidearm range insteasd. No in reality LR are a 100% accurate continously firing increasing damage weapon with ZERO drawbacks, sorry sucks at range and when it gets hot the clip is almost empty are not proper or intelligent arguments. Mechanics are broken simple as that. LR's beam can track through objects, around objects and can be swept as a light saber from any effective range the only hard counter to it is a counter snipe which even then unlike the LR can be dodged. Getting in close WOW mkay good luck, if you manage to pull it off the LR user simply and plainly sucks.

Good day. Maybe the answer for you is to just stay in the MCC for the whole match,then you'll be in the perfect range to never get killed.

yea because that's exactly how i feel how dare ppl kill me, NVM that im a logibro and dying comes with the territory. Heck i have to fight the urge to sacrifice my body to cap an objective or go out of my way to make sure my team is flush with hives and rep or kill enemies.
Sorry but nade spam is out of control anyone who thinks otherwise must be a LR/Sniper user or simply plays at a comfortable distance too AFRAID of wet work.
2s timer absolutely broke the game, people don't even switch to their sidearm when clip is gone on primary, almost universally everyone panic nades, not ONE BUT TWO nades in QUICK SUCCESSION, and b/w the 2s timer and the absolute dumbfounding physics of grenade skipping there simply is no avoiding them. Ive said it plenty of times but i'll repeat myself nades in CQC is a VALID TACTIC. But it SHOULD NOT BE A PANIC BUTTON, it should require cooking to achieve that effect. PERIOD! I use MD so im not unsympathetic to explosive damage or its utility at all. JUST want a little element of SKILL INVOLVED.
Frankly they need to simply reduce militia down to 1 nade per person and then either increase capacity every other level of grenadier allowing a total of 4 or simply create a seperate skill for grenade carrying capacity. If people skill into nades i have no issue with this.
But frankly even that is a bit unnecessary the ONLY fix nades HAVE TO HAVE is 4-5s delay unless COOKED. I think making them selectable equipment or cyclable through quick swiiching Primary-->Secondary-->Nade is a bit excessive and unnecessarily crippling.
I die a LOT, I sacrifice Half million tanks simply to shut other tanks down and not think twice. It's just my style i'll take one for the team if i have to, but its about BALANCE.
Don't worry though i might switch out my flux nades today for FUSED locus nades and sit on a perch with my gauged hives and PUMMEL any FOOL that enter my LOS just to prove my point. Oh and if you think you're safe behind that wall or any distance you are simply WRONG, I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN and CLOSE THE GAP.
Why don't you take a look at some of my post as Gunner VIsari and you see i make suggestions that HURT ME as much as they help me. Sorry you're too blind to recognize that.

4 letter map, team hold C, D and CRU, LR's at table top and perhaps we'll add 2 more around the towers and roof. Can we beat this with tactics of course, does that mean that the LR isnt doing damage faster and deadlier than it should no. Am i forced to engage an enemy in CQC if i want to capture C or D or well anything that requires a hack YES. Go ahead capture C clear out every player from a distance because its so WIDE OPEN with CLEAR LOS everywhere right? Oh i know i should have gotten out my LR and spammed them inside the building forcing them out, or sniper fire and pin them down but then wait i need to sweep them up hmmm i know i'll use hmgs and ARs, oh darn they went under the pipe, oh wow looks like they swept around the trucks and oh wait is that a nade thrown from the trucks at C to the top of the table top or to the supply depot in front of B, better get behind that wall, oh wait more nades.
Sigh, this btw isnt even an annoyance or something i need to QQ over. I can handle it just fine, SMH that you ASSUME that I die a lot from LR's or Nades and that's why i complain, i must die from MD's and flux too a lot since ive made suggestion on those weapons(oh wait i use those...derp). Man getting one hitted by the snipers is a real pain nerf snipers i must have said that oh wait i didnt since they can kill me unless its specced up sniper rifle even then most cant.
Yes use tactics get good scrub i must do these things im such a terrible player i have so much bias against things that kill me i have absolutely no way of removing cognitive/association/lead time bias from my analytical assessment of weapons that i both use and have used against me.

Yes nevermind that everybody has access to this (nades) and it can be volleyed with furious thunder sure why not because thats the game we all want when in trouble just press a button and you are safe, no thinking no tactics just push a button and you will be safe.(sounds eerily the antithesis of an argument i just read.)
Oh but wait all your evidence is proof why LR's are fine there is so much cover you're just a scrub who get caught out in the open too much get better loser. Yes but lets ignore that LR's can damage so fast and that the damage potential only increases with time that object recognition sucks and even when behind cover it can still manage to do damage, lets not also forget that they 100% accuracy, very large clips(sorry this isnt a limitation to the heat damage argument), can be swept like a beam with ZERO EFFORT, And after roughly 3s of activation can melt heavies with a single stroke. Is the weaspon good at what it does sure is the weapon counterable sure, is the weapon unbalanced(NOT OP) absolutely. Can snipers kill them YES/NO as mention from previous reasons why snipers arent a threat.
Just to wrap this up here are things ive been killed by that i have not complained about or asked for nerfs
SMG AR MD Sniper FG TANKS FUSED LOCUS NADES SL AV nades Shotty(screw you calamity jane) Scrambler(screw you Bonney) Nova Knifes(once and only once) LAV's Turrets
