Seeing that DUST Faction Warfare can be lucrative and sway the tides in EVE, it is currently too easy to make an alt corp and throw a corp game for the main corps profit. I understand that ISK is not flowing from EVE to DUST, but Zion's payment from EVE of $500M ISK that is being held EVE side till it is implemented is nothing to sneeze at. Plus, the swing in FW percentage was pretty massive, so it could be used to turn the FW game on its head.
EVE is all about working the system, so this needs to be addressed. One way to make it harder for alt corps is to limit the number of corps on one PSN account to one. This will discourage the quick swapping to an alt toon/corp and rigging a game for the main corps win.
I'm not an EVE player, so not sure on all the FW, but this just seams like a major exploit that a devious corp could do. |

changes will come. the main thing is dust has control of the fw npc contracts not eve fw militas. Once eve pilots have control and there is reward, accountablity, and financial impact things will be vastly different.
I do hope changes come fast in this regard. |

If you had enough control of an opposing corp to "throw" a match, then the ISK is basically going to your main's corp/alliance anyway - you accidentally win, and you can just hand the ISK to your main. You can easily have a separate PSN account to do the same thing, so even if implemented, the effect would be almost nil. Oh, and how would this be implemented? a big box that says "your other character(s) are in XXlegionXX corp, so you can only join XXlegionXX"? I can't speak for everybody, but I would personally feel stifled in such a situation. Doesn't matter that I could make another PSN, it's that the game itself is limiting me in a rather big way. And you know what a player like me would do when a game makes them feel that way? They walk, and take their wallets with them. |
