Pontification from a know-it-all stance where your opinion is absolute and no one else is allowed to argue? This is what I look for to have the most fun on these forums.
People who can't take criticism or dissenting opinions get so ANGRY when you call em on their BS in a manner appropriate to their level of arrogance/idiocy multiplied by your level of apathy. The Goons and TEST have a spreadsheet on the equation I'm hinting at. Something about arrogance +QQ minus facts multiplied by carebear whine quotient and some other stuff tells you how bad people who pull this need to be trolled hard. oh and i think there's a sub-equation on Isk risked Vs. ISK lost niche protecction whines as well. I need to ask my buddy in the CFC to tell me how that works again. |

I don't usually resort to trolling when seeing this type of behavior, but when a person is too ignorant to see beyond his or her ego, I can't refrain from giving them a cake filled with valid, in my opinion, counter-arguments and with sarcastic icing on top. However, once again, such thread can push the envelope too far, and when I see an author going into his/her personal life in an attempt to prove that the OP's oh-so-true argument is the most important one, I don't really want to post anything else there. What I honestly can't comprehend is why these people put themselves into the line of fire.
the end result is the equation mathematically confirms that someone is too stupid/asinine to be allowed to live further. Most people don't need the equation to determine this. |

it usually appears incoherent. also my favorite one is the people who use disconnected rational strings of thought to prove a point that none of them lead to. |
