the hacking glitch has by-far, got to be the most aggravating and most prominent problem currently in dust. If you are not driven completely mad by this glitch, it's probably because you don't hack often enough. But for those of us who do, we really know how frustrating this glitch is. It at times causes very strong feelings for me to stop playing this game altogether, after sitting at a hack point for an entire minute and a half on one hack attempt is insane. please CCP fix this abomination! |

maybe explain problem so they know what to look at instead of big angry letters? also it is probably just circle disappearing and not hack stopping. i never had a single issue with hacking anything... |

Before the hot fix update the other day this happened all the time. If this was the hacking away ... drops out and have to restart hacking objective problem.
Since the update I get what the first reply mentioned. The Circle of Hackiness drops out but will come back and continue.
So if it happens, Do Not Lift Up From The Circle Button (or Keyboard something). Keep hacking. It seems to be just a display issue. Still needs fixing because of the confusion if nothing else. |

I think (but can't speak for OP) that he is talking about the ridiculous amount of time it takes to revert a contested hack. This occurs every time you attempt to interrupt an enemy hack before it has completed. Seems faster to allow the enemy hack to finish, then retake that objective by starting a new hack. One problem with this is allowing the enemy to be rewarded 100wp. In the previous build, hacking a contested objective didn't take any longer than hacking an enemy or open objective. |

No, what i was talking about is almost like the forge gun glitch where when your holding a charge saved up, it goes off without reason. almost like the hack glitch where you will be halfway through a hack and it restarts fresh. Having this happen I have sat and continually tried to hack a single cap point (not a counter hack) from a fresh uncontrolled objective, and had the hack last approximately 72 seconds, this was timed by me personally while being observed by several corp members. |

I've lost count how many times this has happened to me. Rushed to the NC ready to get the CRU afterwards and spend 40 seconds just trying to hack the NC because the hack progress display glicthes, my gun comes out for a split second, and I', back to square one :/ Also, why not get points for stopping a hack? It takes 3 times as long as hacking and you are far more likely to be killed doing so. |
