CCP has implemented a solid real money to ISK platform. Utilizing it the way it's intended seems fair. Edit: PLEX, for those of you who pay no attention, and possibly aurum tokens worth X amount that you can sell for ISK.

The first idea is equivalent to people selling plex in EVE. The second is what's called RMT. It's against the rules (and rightly so).
