I barely do anything, I end up with 300 wp. I played the whole game of skirmish. The opposing side just stayed in their base. After the game, I Received 7000 plus sp. I only killed 2 guys, hacked one installation, died 3 times.
I may as well just chill in the back of the MCC just to level up. Why do you think the snipers are having fun killing and dying less with that 7,000 sp. I'll do another game of skirmish, and this time I will just chill at the back of the MCC while doing laundry. |

I earned 5000 plus sp with a booster, with 75 thousand ISK. I barely started a new game. 0-deaths, 0-kills. I could be making more if I went out there and make more. Why CCP, why!?
What thrives people to go out there it's because they wanted to level up. That's the idea of FPS, right? Players work together to level up, that's how MMO works in other MMOs, that's why it's fun.
In EVE, they care about is resources, territories, etc. That's why they level up in a different way. In FPS, rewards are earned through kills, objectives, teamplay, etc.
The squad leader has no purpose in this game, there's no big impact being a squad leader.
Why can't we level up for a certain task, just like in other FPS? If I wanted to level up as a medic, I may as well revive a lot mercs of certain numbers to unlock a skill. Maybe, heal 2000 points to unlock level 2 or revive 100 merc to gain level 2 for revival skill? If I want to level up my Assault rifle, maybe kill 1000 mercs with it. If they wanted to level up for vehicles, they should only use vehicles to level up. |

Bottom line is, you have the wrong idea of how this game works. CCP isn't designing the game for the solo grind. It is for group based higher-level strategic sandbox FPS. You are accumulating assets and experience that will expand this part of the game.
The game is becoming more solo. The teamplay only works for people in people who wants to work together. I'm not speaking for myself, I'm speaking for the majority would do if they know exactly how to level up the easy way. I just played skirmish, gained 5000 plus xp, earned 75,000 isk. On top of that, I manage to load two laundries and as I type. Didn't lose anything, I gained what I came for, and that's SP. You should try it, just stay on the MCC and you'll see why. 0 death, 0 kills. How is that for a grind?
Edit: Eve players would care for the assets and such. This is FPS, people who play COD,BF3, Medal of Honor, MAG, Killzone are going to play this. Once they found out how to level up without trying hard, they will exploit this. |

Granted we don't have any of that in game yet so it looks like any generic FPS which in turn invites comparisons to them. CCP wants a stately progression of skilling and the only way to do that is to make it clock time based. Every player has the same clock/calendar even if they have drastically different time in game.
It's still a beta. There's no impact yet happening to EVE universe. I ranting about those players who just sit back at the MCC and get rewarded for SP and ISK without effort. I did that today, and I earned 5000ish sp and 75,000ish isk. The game will be boring, because there's no one to kill.
Just remove or decrease the earnings via time by just staying on the game.

This way It Kind Of Gives Everyone an Equal Field .... But I Do Believe That if This cap is Going To Stay in Place The Price For The Boosters Should Go Down cause It was Ok At The AUR price But Now With the same AUR Its Only Guna Work Not Even a Few Hours Of Game Play A day. But To each His Own My Thoughts.
I stayed on the MCC, 0 deaths, 0 kills. Just stayed the whole game of skirmish. My sp reward=5000, ISK reward 75,000. Heck, I could just stay on the MCC while doing chores. Looks to me is easy grind. |

The majority will exploit it. I told you guys so. I play the game is meant to be. I don't care about the SP nor the ISK. It gets to the point where gameplay will diminish once everyone sits on the MCC and sip a cup of tea.
The EVE universe will get affected for the outcome. How so for Dust players? Dust mercs has no meaning for their losses, only if they go out there and die. But you can live by staying on the MCC and earn SP and ISK at the same time. No worries.

Don't get too worked up about it bro, Quote: [FEEDBACK] GÇ£NewGÇ¥ SP System - boosters and AFK farmers Update: The skill booster will increase your SP cap so you can gain more SP per day. The design team will be discussing how to implement the full SP progression design this week and we will keep you posted on its progress. https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=471627#post471627See CCP is right on top of this very pressing issue and will have it fixed right up. They will make this into a pay to win game yet.
I hope they will discuss how other players that are staying on MCC for easy farming. 5,000 sp is a good amount for not doing anything.
