Ive noticed that using the repair tool to repair a friendly will give the initial +25 war points. BUTTT if the enemy is taking damage and I keep repairing them, i do not receive an additional war points after that.
In addition to that Anyone I repair after that will not give me any war points either. |

Few things first:
1) Did the friendly (who was damaging the enemy) need armor repair?
2) Did you hit your WP cap? |

It was an enemy which was damaging the friendly.
And I was only able to get 300 WP that game due to this bug.
The cap is on Skillpoints not war points. |

Bojo wasn't referring to the daily cap on skill points. There is a limit to how many war points you are allowed to earn for triage within a given period of time. You should go back and read the release notes. CCP did this to prevent WP farming exploits. |

If the guy killed someone and you were connected to healing them at the point where they killed someone you should have received "guardian" WP which is currently set at 35.
As the quote states above there isn't a cap on WP you can get through healing but a cap on how much you can earn within a specific amount of time. It's true that CCP did do this to prevent farming exploits of WP, but it's true reason was to keep peeps from constantly earning points, so that the squad leader can just barrage the hell out of the planet with one orbital strike after another.
Personally I think this connection of WP to Orbital Strikes is an issue that needs to be discussed - especially if it's keeping people from doing their jobs on the battle field because of some exploiters. |

This repair tool score system is garbage im sick and tired of healing twenty people and only being awarded a very small amount of sp at the end of the round. If this keeps up i wont play logi anymore. Ive always been a medic but this is frustrating. |

Keep calm and carry on...think about what your next move is going to be. Don't focus too much on one objective. If you have a squad in front of you in need of repairs, heal them up for the +100-+125 pts, then drop a nanohive near them for an extra +50 or so over the match. Then think...can i capture objectives, can I get some highground too see more blues? Can you find another injured squad that you can get to by the time your cooldown is done?
I think I can get about +125 per minute from healing, so in an ambush that can last for 10 mins, I can get only 1250 points from healing, a little more if with a squad with a defend order, a little more if my team is getting kills. Other than that, you want uplinks down and nanohives down, in addition to putting the hurt on the enemy. |

The main problem here is that you don't know every situation in each game. One match you could all be sticking together and you should be able to earn the WP you deserve for sticking as a medic in a situation that requires it. Currently you can fully heal around two people before you stop receiving any WP for triage.
Another match might see you only needing to triage every so often in which case you don't notice the WP cap.
My point is that it might suck to only get a tiny portion of the WP you deserve, but that doesn't mean you should stop healing people. You still want to win, right? |
