I want to post a challenge to any and all that doesn't take effect until NDA is lifted as a video will be required.
So the challenge is this:
Solo a real tank (T3-5)
Prerequisites/limitations:
No heavies.
No swarm launchers.
No vehicles or dropships or turrets of.
No installation turrets.
No help from squad/team/friends/corp/anybody with anything.
Target cannot be from same corp/alliance or an alt of.
It must be recorded and posted/linked to in the forums to be vetted by the community.
It must happen in a pub match. (not sure how to verify this, help would be appreciated)
No precision strikes/orbital bombardments.
The tank must be manned.
First posting validated a legitimate take down by the community gets the reward.
Thats it. And in the spirit of being a merc I'll put up 500,000 isk (guaranteed) for a legit take down. I'd like to put some salvaged vehicles or equipment up as a prize as well but until we have a corp armory I don't know how I could affect a transfer of said vehicle or equipment...
I know this doesn't mean anything as far as the game is concerned but, I want to see it happen and eventually I'll try it myself but for now I'm putting it out there for payment just to see it happen. If I thought I had the skill to do this atm I'd try it but I don't so, until I do...
Payment to be delivered after merc community has scrutinized the hell out of the video and found it to be within the boundaries set forth above.
Any suggestions for altering the challenge or reward is welcome. I want to be fair with this. |

More than willing but need the video hence after the NDA lift... That's in the first line. Notice no editing. (unlike my spelling correction on this one)
I was originally thinking of just a T5 tank for the challenge but I figured that might be excessive for only 500,000. |

I like the idea and will definitely try it but the main problem will be that there will almost always be some random blueberry swarming a tank from across the map, so truly soloing it will be nigh on impossible. |

So ya just want a video of a more or less ordinary, very prevalent AV grenade/proximity tank kill? Seems like kind of a boring challenge don't ya think? I mean sure there is a slight difficulty curve to it but ya can see this sort of thing every day. If ya want a challenge, have someone blow up a tank and a dropship in a single game with a forge gun while riding on the top of a friendly dropship. |

Thought of that too and I'm not sure how to help that which is one of the reasons I am open to suggestions for all of this. I just know that if it's in a corp match it's easier to rig... That's why I specified a pub match and vetting by the community through video which can't happen until NDA is lifted.
Can we do 1v1 contracts? I haven't done one yet so I have no idea... If that's the case we could maybe set up a 1v1 with both recording and a reward for the winner. |

Dropship surfing! That's awesome. Would love to see it but I don't think I'll pay for that one.
I've done the dropship and tank in 1 match with a forge gun last build just not from on top of a dropship.
You all think it should be upped to a T5? Maybe a full tank crew? |

I am sure there will be plenty of good videos being shared once the NDA is lifted, Hauppauge will be in overdrive once the time comes. |
