I take the most pride in taking one down cause it is not easy. And you are right alone each one of them can handle themselves no problem but put them together and you really have a force to deal with. I loose a lot of clones to them but my heart races each time in hopes of getting a good kill in.
I've been reading there posts and the best advice I picked up was to use my best gear when going against them, I like most of the squads mates would usually switch to our free fits cause we knew we didn't stand much if a chance, but in the last build we would put it all on the line against them, and we would have some success. So don't be afraid to go hard at them. Especially if you want to be recruited by them. Which I imagine a lot of players do. Kill them enough ti es and they may recruit you
Exactly please come at us and try and kill us. We die like anyone else. This is why we play the game. Skill trumps gear but its always best to use your best gear against good players. I tend to run cheap stuff but when facing good players i will run better stuff.

95% of our corp hits hard cap and goes and plays something else. dungeon defender is addicting and doesn't boot you to the tavern halfway through a level.

Just out of curiosity, do you guys never do skirmish or what? Ever since I started only doing skirmishes, I've never seen a single imperfect in a battle.
good question and we have 2 reasons.
1. I was serious when i said we log in and grind our sp and do something else. ambush is faster way of doing it. 2. It's out of habit we are used to redlining the other team and then have to camp their redline and that gets really really boring fast. Makes matches seem really drawn out and lame. Not to mention we will get lame sniped from their redline snipers. Just over all made us not want to play.
I likes skirmish for a change, especially after i get 5 straight spawn deaths in an ambush map. That **** still amazing me that ccp will spam someone in a match right next reds over and over at the start of the match. |

who so ever did this I have to say it was a great idea. Sadly, IMPs are sneaky bunch and they probably will never tell |

How exactly are they humilating themselves? I had written an extensive post, but when I submitted it it bugged and reverted the text to a prior draft, so a much more succinct answer: I know not everyone, or even necessarily the majority, of IMPs members are megalomaniacs. With that said, you can't say that starting a junior corp doesn't feed the senior corps' egos. The humiliation stems from some players feeling a need for validation from what boils down to just another member of the community. They clamber to impress the gatekeeper who's post exists solely because of an idolization based on some empty hierarchy. The name IMPSwarm even implicitly suggests a zerg nature, that a "chosen few" can rise above to attain true legendary status. The sycophants gobble it up. The rest was tangential and rambling so perhaps it's all well that it got cut.
Dude just say we have egos and they are fanbois. Also you can skip the neckbeard hispter college boy speak as there aren't any nerdy interweb chicks that want to hang out and LARP with you here. |
